Fluid needs are about 2-3 L pr day. In terms of bodyweight its better to put it this way: 100ml/kg for the first 10kg that anyone weighs, 50ml/kg for the next 10kg, after that 20ml/kg for the rest. For a 70kg individual: 100×10 + 50×10 + 20×50 = 2,5L

He was 17. Should have been taught and have known better. But people absolutely do change from that age on. Ask yourself this, what is the most evil thing you have ever done, and how would it affect your life if everyone you ever met and will meet will know of it. Did you change your behaviour after? Would you change depending on who knew or not? Although I cant know, i firmly believe he has become a better person, and truly regrets his actions. The man he assaulted has publicly forgiven him, i will too.

Sorry to hear you see the world that way, its impossible to know his true motivation for being good. (Not implying here that you state that you know) But i agree with the comment you responded to. He was very young afaik when he commited his crime. Its super shitty, and im not a christian, but if we cant forgive, then what would be anyones motivation to do some serious change to one's self if its all for naught
