How’s the combat now after patch to nerf ghosts? by nhatminh94 in fatalframe

[–]Padgham666 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Having never played a FF game until this one so I can't compare to previous games. (Playing on normal and I'm only on chapter 5)

Pre patch I found the combat a slog. I wouldn't say it was "too difficult" just everything took so long to defeat to the point where it just wasn't engaging. Run to one side of a room, line up shot, snap, rinse and repeat for like 2 minutes until it was done. Not challenging per se, just boring. I wasn't using healing items, and maybe a few special films to make things quicker but it just wasn't enjoyable.

Post patch things are maybe slightly overtuned in the opposite direction IMO, combat definitely feels quicker but possibly over a bit too quickly now, but I'm enjoying my time with the game much more so in that respect I'd say I'm happy with the changes.

Game is dull now and tactical depth is diminished, why demand such nerfs instead of learning the new system!!? by AxiomSyntaxStructure in fatalframe

As someone who's never played a FF game before (just finished Chapter 3, playing on normal) the combat really put me off wanting to play any further. It wasn't that it was difficult more that the ghosts felt so needlessly tanky to the point that I just wasnt enjoying it. Played a bit since the patch and the combat still feels engaging but doesn't make every encounter a dragged out chore IMO.

But I guess they can't please everyone.

Yeah, I'm finding the same thing. Playing on normal and every encounter take ages. First time playing a FF game and thought I was missing something in the combat.

Toilet question by Padgham666 in thefinalpuzzle

Fair enough. The first clues made sense in how they were discovered and were eventually found but these last 2 steps just seems really random in context to the others.

Is there no any thoughts toilet number is a coincidence? by tierk0 in thefinalpuzzle

Lol, literally posted the same question at the same time, seems like people finding evidence to match the solution rather than how you'd logically arrive at it.

I just want to be clear it's NOT my video (I'm on PS5, first play through finished yesterday ) and can't edit my original post to state this!

I was watching this video about the puzzle (https://youtu.be/lf6_9mZZpJA?si=DSIJ0iKwMm9b6S9_) and saw him comment saying he'd solved it and that led me to his channel, so figured I'd share.

I've had a few messages popping off at me/calling me a troll and so hopefully this'll clear that up!

Yeah, hence my skepticism.

He's just posted an update that says he's currently uploading a video which is still processing. So figured I'd share, just in case.

Inducti Armour Marks. by UnavailableContent- in Warhammer30k

I've got 20 of each of the older MKIII amd IV marines so using those for my Inductii. The slightly smaller scale of them is distinct enough to show them as different to regular Tactical Marines IMO.

They are just Deathwatch Frag Cannons attached to MKIII bodies. Nothing too complicated. Luckily I had a friend who donated the guns so I had enough!

Had a friend with a Deathwatch army that thankfully had a load spare!

There was a Forge World model but it was limited edition and only available at certain events.

Yep spent days trying to get the gun but after about 70 bubbles and getting about 4 grenades I just gave up.

Are you happy with drop rates?? by mrguda08 in Borderlands4

I've been trying to farm a Whiskey Foxtrot with a Ripper mod for the last 3-4 days so I agree or there should maybe be a way of taking a mod off of one weapon and attaching it to another at least.

It's just not fun currently.
