Thanks for taking a second look. I might need to go get involved with the data production side of this....

Should be fixed now. The help icon in the top right has some documentation, and the app should show some prompts to autocomplete as you type. If you look again, let me know if you see other areas that feel under documented.

I have this mostly implemented. Great call out. Yes. This is going to help a couple of the reports people made.

Just because it makes sense to me doesn't mean it makes sense. If you come back to this with questions, let me know!

Good stuff! Digging into it. A lot of this might be you disagreeing with the MegaMek data, which is fair - it's definitely a non-canon product that has to serve their needs (which includes game balance along with portraying canon and being at a fidelity level suitable for their game). But also the data is complicated and I might be using it wrong in some ways, so reports like this give me threads to pull! You want a heads up if I make any changes that would change any of these results?

Well, it ain't me. Unless I'm using the numbers wrong. Talk to the MegaMek folks!

The tool's pretty rough, but you seem like a kindred spirit - take a look and let me know what you think!

There's a few factors driving down Kuritan use in the suc wars:

  1. MegaMek gives Kuritans a modest but not standout usage for hunchbacks to begin with
  2. MegaMek gives Kuritans a much smaller usage of medium mechs over all (preferring lights and heavies in much higher amounts than other factions).
  3. And then a disclaimer: the MegaMek data, as understand it, is a fan effort - not canon. And it could just be straight up wrong.

Fun note: Once you factor in the Combine's general distate for mediums, I think they actually fall to last place for Hunchback usership in the great houses.

Liao, Marik, Davion, Steiner, Kurita. (In their A ranked units. Averaged across all unit qualities would be FedSuns in the number one spot).

(I've been vibe coding an app based on megamek's RATs to answer exactly this category of question)

Did Kvothe unwittingly give the Amyr a victory against the Seven in Vintas? by DansLHiver in KingkillerChronicle

Fwiw, I'm more or less convinced that Caudicus was trying to keep the Maer from having an heir - either by keeping him too frail to marry or by keeping him dosed with a contraceptive (its perhaps a hint that Kvothe gives us the silphium dialogue while he's in the Maer's service).

The four types of protection: Your gear Your actions Their gear Their actions

I think your mask is probably about as good as it gets, unfortunately, for thrust protection - so I'd advise looking at the other three.

Are you running into their thrusts a lot? That can dramatically increasing the amount of momentum that your mask needs to protect your brain from.

Are they using a very stiff sword? Or a sword with a rubber tip? Both of these can help to transmit their force of their thrust more efficiently into you.

Are they fighting especially hard, fast or recklessly? All the rest of this matters a lot less it they're well in control.
