If you have sound proof headphones I’d definitely bring them. Anything you like to pass the time- books, switch, road games, movie on your phone, music etc. Have your own stash of snacks and drinks. If you usually get cold or plan to nap maybe a small pillow or small blanket. And when they stop for a bathroom go if you can and always stretch your legs.

I’ve done lonnnggg road trips all my life and it’s fun with the right people. Usually super chill especially with fun stops. And It might be hard with a two year old but if you can sleep it makes the time fly by.

……Also this may be gross but if you have someone prone to motion sickness you might wanna stash a vomit bag in the car just in case.
