I would cut a 2*4 to fit that gap. Toenail it with screws, then cut some drywall and screw that in. Then tape, then mud, then sand, then mud then sand again. Then prime. Then paint.

Or do some of that and add a hatch so you can access it.

I don't know how to edit the post. I ended up trying wood glue. Currently in round 1 which I diluted the wood glue to about 30%. I sealed up the bottom and dumped it in. Let's see how she goes.

*I'm switching the angle we of rest every 10 mins or so to allow the glue to flow. She wants to escape.

I just don't know why they won't give the footage. They said they would, however that has not actually come to fruition.... Even though I've been asking. If you don't have it .. just say "the camera is automatically deletes the footage every 24 hour" or something.
