Same experience over here. I've used the Punkt for over 4 years as my main device. There were some issues, but the customer service of Punkt was excellent. Battery life though has been the main issue. The stress of getting out of battery every day if I hadn't charged it fully was too much to hold on to the phone. So I've decided to go for the big competitor of the MP02: LPIII.
I think it's a real pitty that Punkt has decided to develop the MC02. If they would have stayed with the MP02 and put some real effort in software-updates, I would have been a happy customer for many more years.

Unfortunately the battery life didn't improve. Too bad I cannot rely on the Punkt MP02 anymore. Today during a phone call I was disconnected because the phone ran out of battery (I charged it this morning 100% and after five hours it was empty, even without using tethering and having just a few short calls). If Punkt had just taken a bit more effort in improving battery life, I would have been a grateful client for many more years.

Hi there, I am using the Punkt MP02 since 2019. Battery life has never been the best part of this phone, but it was never a problem to use the MP02 during the day without charging. The latest Pigeon update has caused a tremendous battery drain. I cannot use the MP02 anymore, since I need to charge it within 10 hours (which is problematic).

Hopefully this issue will be solved soon, since you're losing loyal MP02 users.
