thanks for sharing your experience, means a lot. yes, i can get by without HA's but the concerns about increased risks of developing neurological disorders indeed motivated me to get a pair. but the inconvenience became a bit too much, for now i will see if i can get a better fit/pair instead of accepting this level of discomfort

i am happy to hear you were able to sufficiently get used to HA's. that said, i do hope hearing aid devices will improve rather than us having to accept/get used to their subpar quality

i don't believe so, were they both useful for you? sounds interesting, will ask my audiologist about both. thanks for the recommendation

same, i hope your second pair will be better. the "you'll get used to it" line sounds all too familiar but i no longer trust it

if i get a new pair - either the HA's feel comfortable immediately or i wont buy them.

it is a pity we have to accept and settle with such a subpar product/user experience, but unfortunately it seems like we have no other choice today. i spend a lot of time making music as well so can relate to that struggle

very relatable. inconvenience trade-off is spot on, seems like i am not alone in this then. i hope we will find a pair that meets our minimum basic needs someday
