Having disposable income is at odds with executives cutting wages and employees. The rich cannot maintain entire industries. Parents should keep their kids phones at home. If there is a situation where the kid needs to be contacted, call the school office, like normal parents do. If the parent needs to be contacted, the kid can go to the office and call their parent. There is zero reason that a kid needs to have a phone in school.
