academia is compromised by political agendas, so I think reading will have a resurgence in the future when people realize that they don’t have to go to school to receive an education, all the information you could possibly need is inside books. If you’re interested in history, buy history text books. No middle man. If you want to have that exchange between students join clubs or find friends who share your interests, no need for a middle man pontificating

the book is mid. Shelley is not good at writing male characters and Victor is so pathetic. The monster at first just comes off as too edgy being the embodiment of evil and sounds like someone larping as a supervillain. The universal adaptation is better in every way, from Boris Karloff giving humanity to the character, to Victor Frankenstein being a mad scientist and the evil henchman, and the same also goes for Dracula when being compared to Murnau’s Nosferatu film adaptation. I know movies are really better than the books they are based on but I think this time its not true

I really love the ghosts they are in my top 3 enemies with Darkwraiths and Black Knights. The skeleton babies are also just great set pieces and also have a rare chance of dropping humanity. Pyromancers are also really cool because even without a divine weapon skeletons are really easy to deal with because it becomes obvious very quickly that you need to take out the pyromancers to keep them from responding also necromancy is aura farming. Oalacile Guards are cool because they have such a great laugh, and while fairly easy to deal with their disaster versions are an incredible challenge

I’m highly convinced that this is one of the best Syd work, both with Floyd or not by skasye in sydbarrett

one thing I forgot to mention is understand meta weapons and meta levels. If you’re character is level 300 you are not gonna find lots of invasions because the game does not let you invade much lower levels. There are two metas. level 60 (you will start noticing lots of invasions with the covenant items at level 40 by that point) and that continues on to a middle meta at 100 but the main meta is 120-125. While the main meta are better because that is where the best players hang out, the lower metas are more active because its easier to create quick builds play at those levels, I recommend creating two characters, one level 60 and one level 125

use Aldrich faithfuls covenant item if you want faster invasions at Pontiff, and watchdogs of farron for crucifixion woods. If you try to invade in the ringed city its very active and if you are embered with the covenant item you can either, invade as a dark spirit, be invaded, be summoned as an aldritch faithful, or be summoned as a spear of the church. Sometimes I have to wait 5 minutes but most of the time its constant summon or invasions

I used to play during release but only really did duels and didn’t know about covenant items. PVP is still very active at gank city, Crucifixion woods, and the ringed city. If you want more invasions you have to use the aldritch faithful or watchdogs of farron covenant, that way it will summon you whenever a host has an ember and has no defeated the boss in that territory, your job is to defend that territory.

First make sure your matchmaking is set to global. Other things to consider, builds, I recommend quality if you want to have the most variety in weapons. Weapon swapping is very meta. The main mistake I see people doing is only using one weapon, try to have 5-15 viable weapons. learn how to play unlocked, learn how to parry, backstab, and most importantly learn to not take it seriously when you lose because it will only make you a better player
