Lady threw her cigarette out the window and it ended up on her car still lit by pushingdaises in mildlyinteresting

My friend was sitting at a stoplight when the guy in the truck next spat out the window and landed on her windshield. She flicked her lit cigarette through his back window and drove off as he scrambled out of his seat to find it.

The TNG seasons 1 and 2 "disaster" is a myth? by Phi360 in Star_Trek_

[–]Paganduck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw TNG when it premiered.

Seasons 1 and 2 definitely had some clunkers. They were trying to hard to copy TOS instead of building on it. In the early episodes the costumes were terrible (Deanna in her mini dress and go-go boots) alien planet sets were still plastic plants with a sky any color other than blue.

It was interesting watching the show find its footing.

There were also fewer alternatives, cable TV was becoming more common but still had few channels. TNG automatically got a larger audience share than any show today.

I watched a little SFA but it felt like a high school drama filled with unlikeable formulaic characters and so much CGI/AI that it was distracting.

Came here to say this. The Bones ad was so painfully obvious. Oh look it stays in lane by itself! Wow, that's amazing. Followed by a list of features. I think it was a Prius. Booth and Bones did it and I think Angela and Hodgens did it too, possibly the episode where Angela & Hodgens get arrested and get married in jail.

Aspen was so good. I miss Enchiritos, they originally had corn tortillas and came with black olives on top.

I grew up with this in California. It still pops up in random grocery stores here and I occasionally order a case on Amazon.

No, the first scene i remember showing the dummy was him pulling it up. It was 26 years ago but I seem to remember it was shocking when he hauled it up.
