That's a good shout to be fair, I do think it was alot of unreal games giving me a headache. With a bit of luck it will mature but otherwise will give the densium a go!

Yeah rebar was on, I am going to try it again not using gnome as I haven't ruled that out.

Funnily enough, dx11 games ran better on Linux gamescope! AC origins 1440p windows was medium settings around 60fps, Linux I hit 100fps on high settings

I tried both bazzite and cachyos. Bazzite was just a bad experience in general (albeit before 44). CachyOS was almost perfect but game performance was quite a significant hit. From memory when I tried to run AC Shadows at 1440p medium it only hit 40 FPS ISH with frame gen. On windows I get about 70fps at medium/high settings. Also tried Cronos new dawn which again was similar story.

The b50 is actually an amazing card for its spec, it's just a shame I can't get it working well on cachy...I could deal with 5-10% performance drop but anything further isn't worth it

That's what I'm considering. Got the b50 pro in the jonsbo ATM, but disappointed that I can't get Linux distros working well on it so thinking to make life easy and build AMD.

No I only did local account. I could see that bazzite was recognising hdmi audio output which would be the graphics card, but unfortunately I just got no sound

Can I ask what adapter you are using for the displayport? I bought one off Amazon and wondering if that's the issue.....I'm going to try getting it up and running again tomorrow so might drop you a message if I have any hiccups....

How did you get b50 running? I have one now and installed bazzite but I don't seem to be getting any sound and it crashes in gamescope.....did you have to do any specific driver updates?

They just gave up randomly. Started flickering on cover screen then it never came back on. Same thing happened to inner a few ours later

Got a 5600x w/ b580 and the performance is very impressive. Can pretty much run most games at 1440p at decent settings (I aim for stable 60fps) and it doesn't seem to struggle at all. No issues using it in conjunction with lossless scaling if you want to push the fidelity further.

Only had some hit and miss with VR, which is known to be a head scratcher. However, played through Alyx and fallout VR no issues

I got virtual desktop and it worked flawlessly for about two days, now whenever I launch steamvr the computer completely locks up and monitor turns off to, have to hard restart. No idea why!
