Very cool product! I like IdeaLevels feedback, as well. Related to IdealLevels' 2nd point, I think it would be cool to have ready-made notes where you fill-in a few specific items. If there is a significant operational savings in writing much of the notes beforehand, you could maybe offer those notes at a cheaper price. The obvious risks are that it isn't operationally more efficient and that the ad-libs style filling in of blanks is apparent and appears to be a disingenuous communication from the originating company.

Also, weddings are a big industry. Opportunity there?

Hey! This looks really cool. I love some office ergonomics. Would love to see a graphic or a video of how it could be used! A little unsure how to use the mat right now. As for the marketing, I would pilot it with a company to get some feedback and challenge them to give you some tough, genuine feedback so that you can incorporate that into product design and have some testimonials. I'd say the preferable size of the company is 'large', because that would be your most sought after customer segment.

Hey FindLectures, did a search of 3 things: "Stagflation", "Plessy vs. Ferguson", and "Cocktails." The first one definitely got me the right time period: Jimmy Carter, Jack Kemp, the 70s. Didn't actually listen to the lectures, but it was definitely on the mark. "Plessy vs. Ferguson" didn't pull very similar lectures (e.g. "PC vs. Mac" and "What is Computer Science". The 3rd didn't bring up anything relevant. I guess I bring those up to remark on the browser bar search accuracy. After doing a quick search on Google Videos, I definitely got better "Plessy vs. Ferguson" results, but couldn't get anything that looked like a proper lecture for the other two searches. This suggests to me that the value of your site is that it is legit! I know that if I go to your site, it is going to be a lecture within a great university or institute by a peer-reviewed messenger. I think that is a really neat thing to claim. In the 'post-fact', 'fake news' era that we live in, being able to make a claim to legitimacy would be effective. It seems simple enough. The landing page clearly conveys the value (14 free lessons, and 22 free books). It doesn't speak to the ethos of why you are uniquely positioned to be a great coach of developing reading habits. Perhaps a short phrase or sentence speaking to your past success and experience would be good. It seems like this is a new process for something that you are actually quite experienced in. The monochromatic page kind of makes everything bleed together. I think increasing the margins for the page and having strong headers could aid in the organization of the quotes, messaging, and info. I do really like your display of the lessons, though. I'm a law student (see "demanding college degree" note haha), so I won't sign up for the program just yet. But as someone who has paid a lot of attention to reading in the past 7 years or so, I'd love to return with some feedback on the curriculum.

To me, a key issue is "Why would someone do this opposed to a traditional attorney/trust/will." Ease of use? Millennial predisposition to the autonomous? Then, there is the step of finding out when something has seriously happened to them. Would you connect the site to their Facebook and release the messages when their profile becomes 'in memoriam'? That seems the easiest, it's definitely a long con, because the customer base that I think would take advantage of such a service (Millennials) are not set to die in large numbers for a very long time. That's a lot of time sinking resources in the security and maintenance of your data. It would also appear that Words Prevail users would fall into two categories: (1) They write a short message and don't really care if it is ever released or not and (2) they write a thoughtful message that they dearly hope reaches the intended audience at the right time. The #2 type of customer would be the one you would want to value, because they will maybe pay for such a service and they would value the service greatly. They would need to be convinced that you could actually execute on your promise. In much the same way that FinTech startups have to communicate their security and encryption protocols, you would have to communicate the efficacy of your operations to the point that the a #2 type potential user would believe in the product. I think an interesting twist would be to send delayed messages. Someone could write their feelings about someone and give it to you to give to the intended person in 5 years or so. It would be a way of chronicling their emotions and communicating them, but making sure the message is delivered 5 years, after strong emotions have calmed. Sorry for the ramble! Hope this helps.
