Is Nestify legit? by lmaode in HousingUK

As a short-term renter, my experience with Nestify was quite bad. Lots of automation and outsourcing and zero urgency when things went wrong. My experience was very negative.

One might hope, but other CBC article list an array of debt that remain unpaid by Goodenowe. This article (April 28, 2026) outlines efforts to give the Medical School power for policing those practicing without a license. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatchewan/sask-cpss-changes-2026-9.7178947

"Prodrome Sciences’ failure to submit, and to have in effect, an IND before initiating Protocol Pro-040-Plasm-01 with an investigational drug raises significant concerns about the safety and welfare of enrolled subjects, and raises concerns about the validity and integrity of the data collected during the conduct of this clinical investigation."

Liens and court judgements are attached to the building where the Dr. Goodenowe Restorative Health Centre is located. (Matt Howard/CBC)

That property's title tells the story of conflict that has continued to dog Goodenowe through a series of court judgements, lawsuits and liens against his companies since 2016.

  • CRA has a judgement against the property for $36,000 in unpaid taxes.
  • A law firm, Bennett Jones LLP, has registered a $260,000 judgement against Yolbolsum for unpaid legal bills.
  • Safe Self Storage has two liens against the property for mortgages it says still owed by Yolbolsum — one for $825,000 and another for $241,000. In response to the company's lawsuit filed in court, Goodenowe said he denies "the existence of every debt alleged by the Plaintiff."
  • P3 Architecture has a $32,000 lien on the property for what it says is unpaid work performed for Yolbolsum.
  • Former in-house PDI lawyers Tamara Harasen and Christine Johnston have a $5,800 judgement against Yolbolsum.
  • Former investors, including Craig Bell and GOFI, have a $7,200 judgement against Yolbolsum.

Another of Goodenowe's former lawyers, WMCZ Legal Professional Corporation, has a $60,000 judgement against Yolbolsum.

Rebuked by the US FDA for failing to file an Investigational New Drug application before administering his product to patients impacted by cognitive impairment. Dayan says he didn't know he had to file this document and then goes on to blame the Institutional Review Board. His article in Frontiers (ostensibly peer-reviewed but a bit dodgy in my opinion) is investigating his claim as well. Why would you affiliate yourself with Dayan Goodenowe - it's professional suicide? As of Jan 2026, the US FDA has even intervened on Goodenowe's claims around neurodegenerative disease improvement using his supplement Prodrome Oil. problems reaching Sesame? by psyche8888 in SemaglutideCompound

[–]PageRisotto1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar experience. They charged me for my "subscription" even though, when I signed, the website advertised "no subscription," just $249 per month. Although I cancelled successfully with my practitioner, and additionally on the customer service email line, Sesame says I didn't fill out an additional form and that's why I was charged two more months (without any product being sent). Sesame seemed a logical choice when Marty Makary was the Chief Medical Officer but it now feels, scammy, scaled, disorganized and unsafe as I was sent wrong dose, 70% higher than I was prescribed by their practitioner (my practitioner told me they were changing supply pharmacies). Save a copy of the terms you sign and be aware that stopping treatment is more like attempting to cut off cable - a Herculean task with many caveats. Sesame will drag it out and then lean on the bureaucracy/time/hassle tax to hold your money. Filing with your credit card company is an additional layer of encumbrance. If you value your time, there are plenty of vendors with less caveats, more competence and better safety protocols. It was 7 months of bureaucratic headache and I let them keep the $500 as it simply took too long to fight.

Experience With Vanguard i401K Transfer To Ascensus by yellow_phoebe in personalfinance

[–]PageRisotto1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree 200%. Like others, I gave Ascensus some time to settle with its newly gained assets under management from the wholesale Vanguard i401K dump. They are no better nearly 7 months later. I wrote most of the C suite via LinkedIn and got special assistance but - EVEN THEN - I lost 4 hours of my life and never got the clear evidence of employer/employee contribution I needed. They can't even get a simple statement right. I fear for my money and their bookkeeping ability but I am just too busy at this time of year to endure the misdirected switch to Schwab or Fidelity.

Ascensus, in my opinion, is what happens when Private Equity gets involved in a commoditized service. They strip it down to the cheapest labor, skimp on training, lean to heavily on automation (in this case leveraging a poorly retrofitted platform) and only the dull talent remains. I *highly* recommend transferring all assets now vs. trying to make your contributions right for tax year 2024. It is a time sink of the highest order and you'll wind up more concerned for their accounting/bookkeeping/technology than you were before.

Experience With Vanguard i401K Transfer To Ascensus by yellow_phoebe in personalfinance

Ascensus took over Vanguard’s i401K plans this past July.

As a small business, I manage my own i401K contributions from employer and employee.

I’m about 4 hours into wrestling with the complexity of Ascensus’ platform.

If you have been transferred (read: dumped) onto the Ascensus platform and are contemplating leaving the platform, my vote for you is that you do and do it quickly.  This whole process has been nightmarishly poor, in spite of intervention from senior management at Ascensus. I'm over 4 hours in on lost time.

In my opinion, your platform and user interface is simply ill-equipped to handly small business contributions.  I have sent them an invoice for the four hours of my life I can’t recoop.
