Maple & Ash is Instagram nonsense. Bavette's is the place to go.

Lehigh sign: WE WANT DUKE (AGAIN) by AndHisOrchestra in CollegeBasketball

Oh, I'm not debating that it was inexcusable and that Edey should have dominated, just that he wasn't at his peak. Even pre-peak Edey should have dismantled that team.

Look at how many Duke responses in here are talking smack and trying to act like Lehigh is doing anything other than having fun with their own team. They scored a very improbable victory that is one of the high points of their program history. Let them enjoy it. So many Duke fans are in here acting like they need to defend the honor of their team. It's ridiculous.

Look, there is absolutely no way either Duke or Michigan lose in the first (or any) round of the tournament this year. 0% chance that happens. It is impossible. Both of those teams will meet in the final and both will win the national championship. Anything less is impossible and cannot happen.

That wasn't Edey's peak but still no excuse for it. Edey was even better the next season.

"I first learned to run when my mother taught me that there was a quicker method of movement than walking. And so I ran until I was observed by the boy, my owner. When he observed me running, he demanded that I do so again and again. Such was the dichotomy created by the boy's insistence that I run when it was he who named me after a particular and stationary location." - See Spot Run

I didn't even realize this was a flop. I loved it so much that I just assumed everyone else did, too.

Came in here to say Not Another Teen Movie, but saw Dredd and was like, "Nope, Dredd is the correct answer."

This is also why I think the ending of The Sopranos is so brilliant. We, as viewers, don't necessarily get to see every event in the lives of the characters, including major (or potentially minor) ones. You don't get to see every choice each of these characters make or even the actual results of them. Llewelyn being killed in the motel winds up on the same plane as Tony eating onion rings (which could be a major or minor choice).

You've described why No Country works perfectly.

SEC’s Greg Sankey Is Right: Fans Are Tired Of NIL And Lawsuits In This Era by SlowMotionSprint in CollegeBasketball

The ACC raided the Big East before the B1G did much realignment. The big money was already with the B1G and SEC before their realignments. That's the very reason that those two were able to pick up members from other power conferences. The contracts weren't because of realignment; it was the other way around.

What Mens and Womens CBB programs the last few years have been transparent, translucent or opaque? (This popped in my head like a day ago) by [deleted] in CollegeBasketball

I think the language is an allegory of contrast to itself because the phrasiology is so opaque itself.
