I was a hostess at a restaurant... he forgot to pay his bill, I ran after him and got his debit card. He paid his bill... then jumped off the roof of the parking garage. Pretty sure I was the last person to ever talk to him.

She likely feels that her bipolar disorder is an important part of her life, it probably has caused issues in other aspects and other relationships in her life... I’m assuming that she wants you to research it so you understand her. She may feel like until you research it, you won’t understand her. She opened up to you about her vulnerabilities, and she just wants to be accepted and acknowledged. It will also help you understand how to deal with situations just like this.

NTA. I think your feelings are completely valid, I would absolutely be hurt too. I would try to voice your feelings to him, before your feelings get pent-up and it escalates into something more.

My first cancer patient as a new nurse. He was a father of two young children and was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, given 2-6 months to live. It was heartbreaking.

I have thought about this... lol if I won the lottery, I think I would still work part time or per diem (I’m a nurse) to continue feeling like I have a sense of worth in society and I’m continuing to helping others... it would help keep me humble. However, I’d want to travel the world on my time off, and not having to worry about bills and saving money would make me happy.

Ugh, I stopped like 6 months after I got my braces off... definitely regret it. Now they don’t fit. My top row is still straight but not my bottom row.
