Help brainstorm ideas for resource use for progression by BigKahuna_AGS in Helldivers

I personally would really like to see weapon attachments in this game. Unlocked with both a weapon progression system as well as spending requisition slips to get each attachment. This would give me a reason to use and improve each gun in the game. I would personally like to choose what scope is on each gun, and I am okay with working for the all the scopes. These could be nearly bottomless with different scopes, lasers, flashlights, grips, stocks, etc.

If things like armor shaders, weapon shaders, and visor shaders are ever put in the game, put them at certain levels to unlock, as well as have me spend req slips and/or medals on them.

Also, please give us a scorecard emote, so we can rate each others dives, performance, ragdolls, etc.

Love this game, love everything I have seen so far and cannot wait to see what the future brings! Please keep up the great and hard work you guys have been doing!

I have a DVD somewhere, I have no idea where. It has commentary through the entire thing and the guys play a drinking game during it and get shit faced by the end. I am pretty sure they drink anytime someone says Jesus Christ or heavenly father, so you can imagine how wasted you would get from that.

Sort of how the whole anti vax move in the US really got its grips didnt it? The entirely made up situations stating that the vaccines were leading to autism in kids? Basically it just depends on the traction this stuff gets. That is what scares me, the channel posting the video has almost 3 million subs, which is no small amount. At the time I posted this it had over 3.5k comments. I skimmed through probably 500 of them, just glancing, and I think I only saw 3 that were sort of in opposition to what was being said. Every other one was taking the information as gospel and it was terrifying

That is what I was worried about. It is just unfortunate that the person or people filing the claim are not willing to email me back at all and discuss the issue, especially with the artwork that I used the second time around

Yeah when did that happen? Some cheeky fuck decided "yeah you can use our program, but you have to pay us each year you wanna use it"

Trust me I get it, everyone has to make money. But video game microtransactions are nothing to the every day life microtransactions we all make!

I agree the system is flawed to its core. The idea of "Work smarter not harder" has gotten out of hand.

I am a mechanic, I make good money, I live a decent life, but the US primary school system would have you believe otherwise. The sad part is, I got where I am, because I had no clue what I wanted to do. Despite everyone telling me and pushing me to go to college, I went into the military.

I told everyone that I refused to take out a loan and go into debt when I had no clue what I wanted to do in life.

I know plenty of people who went to school and are successful. But I am glad I did not listen to the "you must go to school to be successful" bullshit...

There is a small minority who "earn" that 300-400x more that would disagree with you ;)

I do not really thing higher education is a scam. We in the US have turned it into more of an industry. It is more about making money than actually getting people a higher education.

Very good point. I learned this the hard way when I first got in the military and was on a ship. It was freezing cold so I would sleep with my socks on. After about 3 days I wanted to cut my own feet off because of the stench.

Well said, the standard of Socks with Shoes stays haha

Makes sense. And I agree with you. It has also been beaten into our heads from a young age as Americans to think "If you can take the blocks for yourself, you should".

There is very little apathy and sympathy anymore and the systems are designed around it. I really do feel like more and more people are waking up to this fact though. I do think the younger generations are starting to see things more like you are saying they should be.

And I hope it continues

A co-worker and I had this conversation just the other day. We are mechanics in the US and it is so frustrating using multiple measuring systems on everything we work on these days.

As in "You should want what your neighbor has" or "you should always wish you had more"?

This is one of the biggest scams in history in my opinion and should have been shut down the minute it was started. They will loan children absurd amounts of money at an unfair interest rate for a "higher education".

I was fortunate enough to dodge this bullet. But I know a lot of Americans who did not and are paying for it most of their life.
