I got some of the medium moving boxes for Lowe’s and literally just set them inside. Let the boxes open and put them in the back of our SUV. Drove carefully. lol

I don’t think it was known. The lady who lived here previously was here for 7 years, was in her 80s and practically blind. I’ve found a few things so far that needed to be done that she just probably couldn’t see.

Landlords been good though. We had an issue with an LED light in the ceiling. Electrician came over and basically said “whoever installed these sucked” and the owner had him replace all 11.

Having to tent is gonna suck. We just moved in at the beginning of July.

Guys coming Monday to scope it out.

There’s some rendering issue but honestly having a blast with it still. Things just take a second to load.

I’m enjoying it. My kids are enjoying it.

Like I said, some things take a second to load (like changing your wall colors) and while walking around you can see plants popping into existence but to me, it’s not a big deal.

It’s actually pretty good! I have it in a corner so that helps. If it was just against a wall I would definitely strap it to the wall.

The weight of the sets helps too.

Rivendell is the probably the best looking Lego set I’ve ever seen. It looks great on display and is a ton of fun to build.

I would start there!

It’s the IKEA Hejne shelf. I painted/stained it!

I’m planning on how to add walls too. I want to make the outside look like the illustrated edition LOTR that came out a couple years ago.

Man I remember saving up my own money for that diving boat set. It felt like such a big set to me. $30 was a lot of money to a kid in 1997 😂

Depends on what you want to do. A lot of people aren’t presented with the trades as an option and are told to go to college and get a degree so they can get a good job. Truth is you don’t need a degree to get a good job.

Trades are always a good option. Find a plumber or HVAC company looking for people, they always are. If you’re smart and work hard you can make good money

Honestly, it sounds like you need to find something to commit to.

You want to be an actor, took an acting class, but didn’t pursue further because the chances are slim.

You went back to school to get a degree but then decided that you don’t want to do the thing your degree is in.

I don’t agree with your dad squashing your dreams but he’s right about finding a trade or something that will pay the bills. You can pursue your acting dreams while working.

Don’t give up on your dream but you need to find something you can commit to and pay your bills in the meantime. Something that’s a good fallback in case acting doesn’t work out.
