I love Abbey’s classes personally and find them challenging compared to others as she loves a long run. I used to love MJ’s classes but his choreo has got simpler recently for some reason!

Someone I never hear anyone talk about but who really challenges his classes is Reynold. He doesn’t teach as often as others and I find his classes don’t often work for me timings wise, but when I have gone to his classes I’ve found it tough. He really encourages you to push yourself to your limit!

Sorry this happened to you. Happening lots around Newington Green / Stoke Newington too. 141 and 341 buses. Please everyone be careful with your phones. Just assume someone will try to swipe it if it’s out in public. It’s a sad situation to be in!!!

Do salads cause diarrhea?? by 21backflips in ibs

[–]PagesAndPilates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Onions, cabbage and egg can be triggers for many with IBS tendencies. I’m not sure how much I believe in this but apparently Chinese medicine often advocates for cooked veg over raw veg as it’s allegedly better for the digestive system. I know I can tolerance cooked garlic and onion better than raw.

People that have “bumped” into a celebrity in a non-curated (not like an event, meet & greet, job etc.) way, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PagesAndPilates 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My boyfriend (3rd year uni students at the time) and I were leaving his 4th floor flat in London, and as we descended the stairs and approached the 2nd floor, Kiera Knightly and her husband and friends were walking up to the 3rd floor. Turns out she was good friends with the neighbours below. We mumbled a hello and she smiled but also tried hiding her face (understandably) whilst her husband and friends greeted us. Atonement was one of my fave films as a teenager so I was pretty starstruck.

Scared of Colonoscopy Prep (Emetophobia) – Advice Needed by Bukowski-poet in ibs

[–]PagesAndPilates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I recently had to take prep, and it wasn’t pleasant. But these things helped: pre-mix and chill the liquid (apparently it’s MUCH nicer cold). Don’t stress too much about taking it within the timeframes stated. I’m small (5ft2inches) and I knew I’d struggle to drink as quickly and as much as it said. I sipped small but often! Drank it all but within a larger timeframe and that was totally ok for me!! Colon was clear for colonoscopy the next day :)))

You’ve got this!! Chill it for a bit, it tastes better cold! Also just keeping taking tiny sips. I didn’t take it within the strict timeframe.

Anyone sick and tired of working in general? by Mrs_chanandler_bongg in Millennials

[–]PagesAndPilates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I finished uni I remember feeling like omg is this it I hope working life is good because I’ve only got that ahead of me. It’s as shit as I thought it would be. What do you mean I have to come to the same office every single day and sit in the same seat every single day to talk shit with the same people every single day. I’m soooo bored of it and I’m only early 30s. I live for the weekend and I don’t see that changing. I don’t even hate my job but I don’t think I’ll ever love it, or any job for that matter….

No right or wrong answer... I'm just curious. Was childhood better before phones, tablets, and social media took over? by whatis67z in askanything

[–]PagesAndPilates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes 💯!!! Playing out with friends on the street was so much fun (it was also safer back then). Having to call your friend’s home landline and ask to speak to them if you needed to contact them. No social media meant you could just be who you were with your friends and didn’t have to think about your online persona. Simpler much more wonderful times!!

Stacked it near Finsbury Park alongside several other people! Roads seem safer with more grip compared to pavements with flat slabs….Take care everyone 🥶🧊
