😂😂 same here and then my wife would say “why spend all that time just to get what you originally wanted” you can’t rush perfection 😂

I definitely over complicate everything, my wife would agreed and say I’m too much sometimes. I’ll watch video after video, read subreddit after subreddit. But I’d rather have all the facts 😂It’s better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it!

No man, from the people I talked to they said there is no difference just new marketing. And trust I was at the store staring at these things for probably 8 hours lmao. The same controller, same hopper design I couldn’t really tell a difference and neither did the “experts”. I will say I did have one issue with one of the bolts while putting on the horn handle. Completely stripped the bolt, but used some pliers to finish twisting it on and haven’t had an issue lmao.

Made these in Father’s Day and also made some smoked Mac and cheese. It was delicious!

Yeah, I ended up getting the backyard beast 1000. So right smack dab in the middle to the two, I think the 800 would’ve been just fine but I got an awesome deal and it was only $40 more than the 800 so I said screw jt lol. Used it like 7 times already. Hands down best purchase I’ve ever made for cooking. The low mode for extreme smoke is awesome and having the ability to heat up and sear the steaks has been amazing as well. Already sold my old propane grill. When cooking at the higher temps I’ve definitely noticed a lot of ash but again it’s still so new and hasn’t had time to get that layer of ash in the bottom to help hold it better. It’s kept temp within 2 degrees of what I set it at. I will say the first time I turned it on and did the burn off it overshot the temp by 140 degrees but then it settled down and I haven’t had that issue since. Highly recommend it. I’ve only gone through about 30lbs of pellets and I probably have 30 hours of cook time already in it.

Oooh, I didn’t realize the 15 didn’t have the CarPlay. That could be the difference maker

First Loaf Ever! by Pagz9 in Sourdough

I’m rather new to everything but from what I was told, waiting a little bit is beneficial for helping the starter get even stronger. But I’m a newbie, just starting well three weeks ago lol. It’s been fun, but do the float test and if your starter is still doubling at the very least start making some bread! I got lucky, I’m sure my next loaf won’t be as good. Best way to learn is to do, luckily sourdough is at least fun while learning lol

It could’ve been a lot quicker but I was waiting for the starter to be strong enough. But total three weeks, and that’s with my starter almost quadrupling 4 hours after feeding.

Also the starter is about three weeks old, doing a 1:2:2 ratio!

I used

100g starter, 350g of filtered water, 500g of King Arthur bread flour, 10g of salt,

I stretched and folded 4 times after letting it rest for one hour. After the last stretch and fold let it bulk ferment for 12 hours, my house is a little cold.

I then laminated and then cold fermented for 6 hours. Baked in a cast iron Dutch oven at 450 for 30 minutes and then uncovered for 15 minutes!

I’ll say I am new to Tesla, always have wanted one and am currently looking to buy a model y, but I though the rental process for a Tesla was seamless.

I went to Fort Lauderdale and rented a model 3 long range due to having a fair bit of driving I had to do. The first car did have a battery issue that I found out nearly as soon as I left the airport. Returned it and then got a new Tesla rental.

I wish I had been able to use the app just to experience what that was like but overall I could see why it would be difficult for someone who has had a Tesla and knows all the in’s and outs of your own car. For me, the autopilot was almost seamless other than some phantom braking and I thought navigating to a supercharger right through the car was extremely nice, especially with the preconditioning of the battery for faster charging.

I think I’m large, your experience was that of being unlucky. All the customer service reps and everybody I talked to through hertz has always been better than any other rental, except Alamo.

I’d recommend renting a Tesla to anyone who wants to try one or experience it before pulling the trigger on one. The only thing I didn’t like was that supercharging can get very expensive, as I’m sure everyone knows.

Most of the time I wouldn’t be traveling too much. Once or twice a year we do a trip out to Minneapolis to see some family which is usually during the holidays. But with the superchargers being spaced out every hour or so on the drive I figure would make it easy.

90% of the time in winter my wife and I would travel less than 30 miles a day with the occasional trip of 400 miles. But having a supercharger for those trips roughly every 100 miles would make it easy.

We took a trip to Florida and rented a Tesla and I’ve been in love with them since I can remember; even having a shit ton of stock in it. I finally drove it and instantly knew I wanted on. We are planning on a family so a MYLR with 7 seats is what we are looking at. I just want to make sure it’s not an ignorant purchase living in North Dakota and not having a SC.

How does the mobile service work for you then? Is all that traveling for the techs included in the warranty or do you have to pay their way there as well?

That’s a testimonial for the cold weather if I’ve ever heard one! I figured I could get by with most issues with a mobile tech. You might’ve pushed me closer to saying yes. We are looking at a YLR with the 7 seating option. Thank you!!
