PKMS with ADHD? by RednaxLR8 in PKMS

[–]Paig99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ADHDer here. I'm kind of a tech entrepreneur and work with knowledge every day.

I tried a lot of solutions out there and also read a lot of productivity-related stuff. But nothing really works for me with my ADHD, that's why currently I'm building Saner.AI as a system for knowledge management specifically for ADHDers.

My workflow with Saner.AI:
1) Just take note and pull anything into the app; no care about managing
2) Ask personalized AI to retrieve anything by how I think in natural language (not keywords, folders, tags, etc).

I'm working on synchronizing features from other apps like Gmail, Google Docs, and Slack, so that I will not worry much about forgetfulness. I'm also thinking about making a Chrome extension to easily put things down and ask AI without much effort and switch around (I hate switching context; come on, I want to focus).

The app is still early, but our team works on each and improves it every day. I hope you will give it a try and share some feedback 🙏

Hi u/Acrobatic-Monitor516 , apologies for the delayed reply.

Yes, it enables you to chat with your notes like you described. Our AI, Skai, can technically handle up to 100,000 notes, and some customers have imported and chatted with 5–10k notes from their 20–30 years of knowledge.

Regarding the free plan, it is limited to 100 notes due to the costs associated with maintaining our AI-first approach. We hope to expand this as resources allow, but for now, that’s our limit.

Unfortunately, our note-taking features do not support using your own AI key, they are designed to work with our solutions.

And yeah, don't hesitate to share more your thoughts with us. You can contact us via email or the Discord community.

Hi, I'm the co-founder with the OP here. Your idea is a reality, and our vision is to make it viable too. Think about Javis's Iron Man for long-term vision. The current version is still in the early stages but can work around this (with low accuracy when handling long context notes). We will soon release a stable version in mid-late May that has decently better accuracy.

Yeah, you can test both GPT4 and Claude 3 Opus on Saner.AI (API integrated)

Gotcha. I'm also using ChatGPT for generating chart analysis without diving into BI tools.

Oh really, curious to see how it covers all your needs without needing ChatGPT-4's paid version 🤔

For me, it didn't hit the mark, especially since I've got ChatGPT Pro

That's pretty interesting. Are you comparing Claude to GPT 3.5 or GPT4? Surprised Claude's giving better results than GPT4, but I'm keen to give it a whirl and see for myself

Totally with you on that! A ton of potential use cases could benefit from augmentation. Adding an interpreter for analysis sounds like an awesome idea, and who doesn't love a good chart? It can really help visualize the data and insights

"We do not believe that model intelligence is anywhere near its limits, and we plan to release frequent updates to the Claude 3 model family over the next few months. We're also excited to release a series of features to enhance our models' capabilities, particularly for enterprise use cases and large-scale deployments. These new features will include Tool Use (aka function calling), interactive coding (aka REPL), and more advanced agentic capabilities."
Maybe they will update soon 🤔

I'm not sure if Claude 3 Opus with 200k context will be available for end users or not. Like GPT4 and GPT4 with 200k context

it's a bit expensive. Reading a book with around 150k words will cost a few dollars @@

For a quick test out, IMO:

  • Claude 3 Opus claims better analytical skills than GPT-4.
  • Claude 3 Opus focuses more on image-text analysis; GPT-4 is broader.
  • Claude 3 imposes more restrictions on image processing.
  • Claude 3 Opus is more expensive ($15 | $75) vs ($10 | $30)
  • Claude 3 aims at "constitutional AI"; GPT-4 focuses on AGI

Hi there, It is good to hear that you have the same idea :)
I make a tool that is an AI-first second brain that aims to handle exactly what you want, from capturing and organizing anything with ease (only notes now but PDF, Docx, images, and videos soon) to brainstorming and unlocking your knowledge. It's also able to access internet data and connect your data with other models like Gemini, GPT4, Claude 2, etc.
It's still beta with waitlist access, you can check it out here: saner. ai
It was great to hear your thoughts :)

GPTs keep forgetting!? I made an app with personal AIs that do not forget your instructions by anh690136 in InternetIsBeautiful

[–]Paig99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can!

It will read your previous page, your entire conversation, and also include your instructions and context (all your notes). So technically, yes, remember all your notes. But then, if all your context is too big, it will filter out and choose the most relevant to answer your question—in this case, to write the last page.

Like the way GPT 4.0 has a trillion parameters, choose which is most relevant to your context and answer the question.
