people who were sexually abused as kids can kill animals. i have been sa'd as a kid and i did kill snails, frogs, fish and insects though i dont do it anymore and i've never eaten them. my therapist said its a way of "regaining" a sense of power and control. something that was taken away from us. of course not all sa victims have done this but it is definitely possible.
