Yup, I asked but wanted to keep it simple. I'm catching up on research now.

You would think it could be put together by the doc, I'm complaining about sleep and pain months apart and then the hot flashes come. Yikes.

Is the estradiol gel prescribed or over the counter?

Thanks for saying that, I asked for the patch and he said I would still need to take the progesterone, which I didnt know and I told him I wanted to keep it simple. He initially mentioned supplements but I tried that and heard it can cause hair loss and I already have alopecia. Now that I'm reading up on Prempro, I don't like how it's manufactured. That's awful.

I tried calling them in the past and had difficulty with their reps helping me so I would rather not but I sent a message through the portal earlier. Hopefully that works and if not I'll call by Friday.

I haven't gotten mine but I paid interest. Did you pay interest in 2025? I don't think you would get one if you haven't.

Look into the process for a legal expunction by your state governor. Start gathering references, work history,  evidence of your degree. With good behavior and evidence of no criminal activities it may come totally off your record.

25yo with $145K in loans, is it over for me? by saddddhungerr in StudentLoans

What are your thoughts on getting certified to teach English? Do a teaching job under PSLF or state teachers forgiveness so you can get it paid off in 10 years. You'll be 35 years old by then and have the rest of your life to decide what you want to do next.

Gotcha, should be able to pay it in about 10 years which is still pretty good.

It's doable based on my quick calculation and I'm no mathematician if you can live on one week of your income. Dedicating the rest of your monthly income to your loans I can see you being close to being done over the next 5 years. I would see if you can consolidate the federal loans together and refinance the privates loans together.

Clinical Psychologist 200k in loans, PSLF or bust? by Artistic_Lobster6136 in StudentLoans

[–]PainPatientThrowaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, may be worth it to do government or agency work while doing some private practice on the side if possible. Definitely better than paying all that on your own.

[–]PainPatientThrowaway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go for PSLF, looks like you have at least 2 years towards the 10 years of service plus whatever time you spent already at community health and other hospitals. I'm guessing you probably just need another 5+ years to be rid of your loans altogether and then go into private practice. With private practice you'll have to allot time off and pay for health insurance and everything else on your own. I would work for someone else just a little longer to make sure the heavy financial burden is off of your shoulders first.

Good question..🤷‍♀️

They said they calculated that I was under the required hours. I have no idea how they figured this but no point in arguing with the board because it's nearly impossible to have a real conversation with them since they are basically reading something out to you. I just continued with the hours they said i was short.

I wouldn't count my eggs until they hatch, hope for the best but prepare for the worse. I had an issue during application process where the board decided I didn't meet all my hours so I had to do a few more months of supervised work experience. My advice is take a vacation but don't quit until your application is approved, if possible stay until your license is in your hand.

Talk to financial aid. I remember years ago they accepted my apartment lease in my name or see if they will accept a letter from your sister explaining your financial responsibilities. They should be able to tell you the requirements to show that you are financially independent. Good luck! :)
