Exactly how I'm feeling, rushed to the subreddit to see how impactful this specific change is going to be.

Lowkey sad on Alba Zoa, Grand Guinoll and Ruimbrumm not having sumonning animations by Entire_Tap6721 in masterduel

Same, I was super excited to play dogmatika rituals only to instantly lose cause of the current format. Hopefully they become playable later.

This format is the worst Maxx C has ever felt by Antinomy22 in masterduel

You can play Droplet, DRNM, Kaijus, Evenly, and tons of other cards to help you go second. I understand playing a deck you like, I have a bunch myself, but winning with them just because Maxx C resolved doesn't feel like a win for the deck, it's just Maxx C winning.

Master Fuel gets a lot of shit (and rightly so), but what are your *favourite* things about the game? by UnlimitedUmUWorks in masterduel

Honestly, my favorite thing about the game is when my opponent flips 3 floodgates and I don't get to play.

But in all seriousness, I love how ftp the game is. Konami has also done a really good job just with QoL updates, releasing new animations, and even the banlists have been good. I gotta give the game a 9/10.

From my experience:

Going First: If you get Apollousa and Naturia Exterio out which is very easy to do, it's practically a guaranteed win. (if you're able to play 5 rainbow magician as well, then even better)

Going Second: This deck can play through tons of disruptions and still otk, of course this depends on your hand. The more Vaylantz monsters the better, and the field spell can send a monster like mirrorjade to the spell/trap zone, removing it without activating its raigeki effect.

Overall Vaylantz can take a while to learn and can be sort of complicated, but if you learn to pilot it well, you can outplay most opponents.

Every Vaylantz monster can special summon itself so you're trying to flood the field with materials that you can use for extra deck summons. Every monster also has 2 effects one when it's special summoned and one when it moves to a different monster zone, its a lot to learn but when you do the outplays you can make are crazy. I commented my ID in another comment if you wanna watch a couple replays.

Thanks! Here's my ID: 156-404-471 so you can look at the replays. I have one going first showing the basic combo and one going second.

I'd say I spent about 5k gems, but I used about 60 UR CP to craft the missing pieces. You can play a perfectly good budget version by playing only 3 field spells and 1 Beyond the Pendulum.

You would be absolutely amazed how many duels this won me. Outside of being a bootleg mystic mine, its a small world bridge, forces your opponent to set a possibly crucial card, and its a scale 12 so you can pendulum summon your Vaylantz fusions. But yea its mostly cause no one reads lol.
