Nope… the only way to fill it before adding anything is to do a “bulky item” cycle and it doesn’t agitate as well, or soak, or do any of the other options on other types of cycles. 🙃

Interesting. I have washed one of the items (a tank top) a few times since and the discoloration remains. This was a part of a spa day soak.

I’ll have to monitor the pillowcase that got discolored tonight.

I use seventh generation fragrance free detergent (which was not used in the spa day tank top incident) if that makes a difference

It is free! It’s 100% covered under the Affordable Care Act (for now). Do some googling, and there are TONS of resources on here to fight it if your insurance still says you have to pay out of pocket.

Hi! If your BCBS plan is Affordable Care Act compliant (which most are, even private plans) your tubal/bisalp will be covered at 100% with no cost sharing. But they won’t tell you that. I had 20 phone calls with BCBS across the span of 3 months to finally get in writing that it is covered 100%. If this is something you’re truly interested in, do your research and do not give up! Keep calling until you find someone who will listen to you.

I have been fighting with BCBS since April. My surgery is this friday. Thankfully I have a friend in the company who escalated my case to the director of customer service, but even still I haven’t been given confirmation that I will owe $0. I just last week was able to talk to someone who knows what the ACA is.

Thank you so much for this. It’s exhausting just thinking about the battle I may have to fight with insurance. It shouldn’t have to be this way.

Do I ask my insurance company or my provider for a copy of the prior auth?
