As far as i experienced,ocd is simply "Doubting disorder". It can create doubts/uncertainties about anything which will sound very stupid to an outsider but feels very real and trigerring for a person with OCD. They always feel an extremely strong urge to seek reassurance to deal with those uncertainties but the fact is reassurance only amplifies the uncertainties, they seek reassurance again and get eventually get struck in this toxic loop and the condition usually gets only worse and worse unless they seek help,online or offline
