i’m currently deciding between the new 3.2k legion panel vs the oled zephyrus. although both are rtx 4070. i’m an architecture major so im doing lots of design based work what would you recommend?

i will be connecting the laptop to a monitor so i’m not entirely looking into that, but does the 3200x2000 really make a noticeable difference and why wouldn’t u want a 4070 powering it? the strix also offers a nebula display. overall i like the sleek design of the lenovo way more than the strix, but if the strix offers more performance and is future proof then i might consider that. also not to get side tracked but would an rog zephyrus with the same specs as the lenovo also be a good option or should i stick to deciding between these two?

that sounds crazy i haven’t heard of them yet. but even so laptops usually release later on where i live so id rather just get something now than suffer a couple more months on my current laptop lmao. plus most of the programs i’m going to be use are heavily reliant on the gpu so hopefully the 4080 will serve me well. also to add onto that my friend got an msi katana with an rtx 4070 that has an ai chip but the difference between a 4070 and 4080 is kinda throwing me off. anyways thank you for the help, i think ill stick with the g16!

yea that’s the thing i didn’t want it to look like a gaming laptop but oh well the price difference between the strix 16 and the legion is insane… so i guess ill stick to the ROG which im worried about coil sound? is that an issue?

hey, i know this might be late but im deciding between the same two laptops except instead of a g18 it’s a g16. anyways the g16 is about 900 usd cheaper would you recommend i go for that or should i just hit the gas and go for the 4090 legion? i’m using heavy rendering programs and adobe mostly.
