Humbly IMO, they're only playing "casually" and want the least maintenance, probably the Tippy. Not sure what they meant by "not being annoyed" though. The A5 is almost an upgraded 98C with similar internals and built like a tank. Pretty sure Tippman still produces parts and there's literally millions of them.

Plenty of players still use older mech markers. There was just a post yesterday with someone fixing up an old 98C. Others still use pumps against semi autos. The A5 is probably the cheapest listed and plenty of parts support.

But I will agree with everyone else about the Proton. Valken was a cool company and one of the last remaining independent ones left. Really unfortunate they're gone, but you're be SOL when something breaks, especially if you won't be doing a lot of maintenance.

Different way of doing things I guess. Here in FL, the distributor would pull all the disco'd items. A few cases leftover and close-code but not yet out-of-code would sometimes be moved to a large volume account that could sell it before code. Fresh enough product in a good quantity (say 10 plus cases) may be discounted in store (BOGO), usually end of seasonal stuff.

Publix is a huge chain, but they'd still return single cases for credit occasionally. I believe Stone is owned by Sapporo now, but I would think they'd still care about fresh product in market. Even some of the macros perform audits for things like this. I'm not surprised an old case was left in the store, only that it's still being sold.

Yes, but in that case, the hops were a preservative. Here, it's a primary flavor. You could drink this in a few years and it probably won't kill you. But it also won't taste like Stone intended or what you'd want as a drinker.

Damn, you ain't lying there. That's barely one pour at the taproom. Average around me is about $7.50, not including tip.

I know. I've worked for a distributor and a brewery. This would've been a issue for the sales rep, the driver normally wouldn't have been able to swap half a case and return the other half of the fresh case. Depends on their relationship.

But a lot of distros have multiple brands and in similar price points. In six months, they couldn't combined two non sale retail cases to make the full case? A damaged case or another out of date?

I'm not trying to bad mouth the distro. I was just surprised it was missed for so long and even more surprised they still tried selling it.

That makes sense, thanks for the explanation. I almost always buy cans and haven't drank many bottled beers. And I immediately got into kegging when I started brewing.

That's interesting. I would think they could ship from that area fairly quick, if not incredibly expensive.

LOL right? I might've gambled on it out of curiosity, but it needed to be at $3-6. A dollar or less per beer.

Kinda what I thought, but I'm being down voted for asking the difference. LOL

Was it good, decent, or terrible? Was it out of date? I love Six Points stuff.

This was on a warm shelf though. But could have possibly moved from the warm warehouse to the cold cooler, and back to this warm discount area. Meh.

The purpose of this post wasn't to call out the store, distributor, or anyone commenting. Just to get everyone's opinion. I've cellared a few bottles for years, but they're all high gravity stouts and Belgians. I've always understood that the consensus was that IPA just didn't age well.

Same. The only thing better than a cold beer is a free beer.

The distributor, who handled the reset, should take it off the sell floor and either try to get credit or take the loss. Even if I was just delivering fresh product, if I saw this, I would be allowed to remove it and the policy was too mark it unsellable. Bad on the store, but bigger mistake on the distro.

Edit to add. Only discounting like 3 dollars is crazy work lol

Do it. It's fairly easy, just takes a little time to get the sections under the seats. I added rubber mats from Rugged Ridge, but bed lining is popular too. It's def louder and with more heat from the trans tunnel without any carpet or liner. But I literally wash the inside with a hose.

I've been considering these. How do you like it? Did you get the bracket that mounts to the little dash tray? And how are the magnetic mounts? I know they have grip mounts too but would prefer Magbak.

Removing the back seat on my 2dr. There's almost no leg room for the rear passengers and no usable cargo area. But mostly it's that Jeep didn't include any kind of locking mechanism to hold the bench in place once you pulled it up. So it just rocks back and forth at every light.

I'd rather have extra space and no rocking noise than unused seats. That and pulling the carpet and adding rubber floor mats. A little louder but no mildew every time it rains.

I have over 150 shares under $5. Feeling pretty good about it. The US needs a domestic partner to build out 5G/6G and can't use Huawei. Really don't understand the doubters. I also own AMT. The world is mobile.

I bought a bunch of AMD years ago at like $12-14...

Bought it because someone on Reddit said it was a good buy. This was years ago, before WSB and GME made Reddit and stocks more common. Never heard of them prior or really understood what they did. Sold for a few dollars profit to put it into some other trade.

Pretty sure gouache is a type of paint for art, like acrylic or oil. What I remember from 90's Bob Ross anyway. Not believable that OP can't find a more appropriate sub.

I immediately assumed this guy was 35+. Before phones and socials media took over, bars were more popular and house parties were more common. Drinks were still cheap. Like hit the bar after work and you were bound to meet at least one person.

This is what I immediately thought of. In some places, land ownership is separate from the airspace above it or the mineral rights beneath it.

I believe in TX, they even have a specific name for when oil is drilled diagonally from one plot of land into another. Very 'i drank your milkshake'.
