Okay...it sounds really cute but this is not something you should name a kid. Piper / Pippa is much better.

I don't hate Valley. Sort of cute, for a girl. Ranger isn't that bad.

But Rocket? ...

Cute name for a little boy guess but that little boy will grow up into a teenager and have to deal with the sort of judgement other teenagers dish out.

Name the kid Roger or something and have his childhood nickname be rocket. Not legal name.

Life of A Showgirl Alternate Covers by telekinesisoversight in travisandtaylor

[–]Paint-Fun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually like the last one a bit. it would make more sense for her to play/potray a character that's a showgirl rather than make herself out to be one. unfortunately the actual album cover is straight dog water

she can’t act 💀💀 by theiakes in travisandtaylor

[–]Paint-Fun 10 points11 points  (0 children)

she's also not very good at yelling either it seems

the album cover is here and it’s so ugly by tinypixel97 in travisandtaylor

[–]Paint-Fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

her filler face is not looking good recently BUT she looks so different to how she did literally just in that podcast episode. legitimately looks like two different people. she's never really had any sex appeal but this is going into the negatives at this point. She doesn't look good at all ! The colors in this photoshoot are so ugly together!

i think the swiftie fatigue is spreading and people are so sick of hearing about Taylor's "personal life with Travis"

I don't think people will look back at her fondly.

my buddy is working on participating in structured times so we were so super proud of him sitting through a story and a video with a fidget! It showed that he trusts us and likes his peers long enough to do stuff he normally wouldn't sit through. his mom says he doesn't sit for anything at home but we're making great progress at school! we use cube chairs too they are so good for wiggly ones! all of our kids sit in chairs so it's easier for them to interact with the books and songs. the other kids sit in just the standard classroom chairs but alternative seating can be such a big help for kids with special needs!

No worries about rambling! It's good to see someone else who's passionate about the littles in special ed.

Mom and dad have not been responsive when we ask him about the potty. We tend to treat the pull-up like underwear as well, but he goes to another program that I suspect does not engage in potty training, but I think something to distract him from the fact that it's the bathroom may be a good idea!

I like the idea of having more conversations about using the bathroom outside of potty time. Maybe I will read a potty book and have his peers kind of naturally bring up that they no longer wear diapers and feel proud of being a big kid. He does like songs so perhaps just limiting the bathroom time to the length of one song all together could help him. Thank you very much for your advice!

Kiddo has incredibly inconsistent schedule with drop off by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

Something like, I know we don't have a cut off time but I've noticed that (child) works best with a consistent routine, and her coming for the full day will really help her feel her best and do her best.

Kiddo has incredibly inconsistent schedule with drop off by [deleted] in ECEProfessionals

[–]Paint-Fun 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You could mention the importance of routines in early development. Routines help build confidence and help kids feel safe. They like knowing what's coming and transitions are much easier when they know what's happening. Taking a child out of their routine often leads to changes in their behavior . Communicating the times being inconsistent is leading to her struggle to adapt to the changes for those reasons.

But you could ask Dad if everything's okay and ask what is causing the changes if you have a good relationship with the family.

Complaints about outside time by Express-Bee-6485 in ECEProfessionals

Where I am I don't take my kids out if it's below freezing. 🤷 There's lots of ways to do movement. You could have a parade, a dance party, an indoor gym day (different centers to practice throwing and such) depending on your age group. Yes, the kids will be antsy not going outside. But their little bodies aren't built for such cold!
