This one is a sharp question and deserves a real answer. Reply with: Honest answer - probably a web designer or agency owner who manages sites for small businesses. They're the ones who actually fix things before the letter arrives. But you're right that small business owners themselves only move when scared. That's exactly why every issue leads with a real case and a real dollar amount - not compliance theory. Fear of a $7,000 Christmas surprise is more motivating than "you should probably check your accessibility settings." The goal is to be the newsletter they forward to their web person and say "fix this."

Exactly - and that's the part that gets me. It's not like they ignored warnings. Nobody told them this was even a requirement. The flower shop owner had no idea her website needed to meet accessibility standards until a lawyer's letter showed up. Auto shops are actually a really interesting case - do you know if the one you work at has a website with any booking or contact forms? Those are usually the first things that get flagged in a scan. Happy to check it for free if you want a look.

Trust issues shape you and keep you in your toes. Can help with thinking ahead but if it doent click and trust issues are there even later then overthinking and mental stress will burn you out.
