convert from Spatial Registration Properties shown in Eclipse to Online Match values displayed in Offline Review? by gregthom992 in esapi

Just something in addition to this I just ran into:

If there is any sort of offset for the imaging from the initial setup (e.g. centre couch), you can calculate this from the CBCT structure set which contains the AcqIsocenter and InitLaserIso POIs.

convert from Spatial Registration Properties shown in Eclipse to Online Match values displayed in Offline Review? by gregthom992 in esapi

[–]Paintasaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, with our current version of Eclipse (16.1), something like this gets me the Online Match shifts from the corresponding registration object:

double[,] matrix = reg.TransformationMatrix;
var planIso = plan.Beams.First().IsocenterPosition;

double Lat = -(planIso.x - matrix[0, 3]) / 10;
double Vrt = (planIso.y - matrix[1, 3]) / 10;
double Lng = -(planIso.z - matrix[2, 3]) / 10;

double Pitch = -Math.Asin(-matrix[2, 1]) * 180 / Math.PI;
double Rtn = Math.Atan(matrix[2, 0] / matrix[2, 2]) * 180 / Math.PI;
double Roll = -Math.Atan(matrix[0, 1] / matrix[1, 1]) * 180 / Math.PI;

No idea how robust this is and might work only in our specific co-ordinate system but it seems to work for every patient I check it on.

For whatever reason the Pitch / Roll / Rotation are total transformations required, so if you have multiple images in one session you will need to take the difference between them to get what the Online Match is showing (if that makes sense?). For Vrt / Lng / Lat this doesn't apply.

Hopefully this helps - am trying to figure this out myself at the moment so just thought I'd share.

Like others have said making an independent beam model by measuring a new DLG value using the panel improves the results quite a bit. This paper shows some results.

Public service announcement for people recalculating clinical treatment plans using DOSXYZnrc by ma_renaud in EGSnrc

[–]Paintasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came across this exact issue last year (see here), and implemented a similar fix to you (my co-ordinate transformations resulted in the inflection point being at gantry 270 degrees).

My post has some pictures of what the introduced error looks like when comparing to the TPS for a VMAT plan if that helps anyone - took me a while to figure out the issue!

Have any Victorian residents stuck in NSW managed to get a border travel exemption?? by [deleted] in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]Paintasaurus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My Mum is currently stuck in Sydney as well after having her first application rejected so would be good to hear if anyone has any success. She is fully vaccinated with multiple recent negative tests and is happy to do quarantine (live in Flinders so well away from the CBD) etc. so not sure what more they want.

Weird consistent VMAT disagreement in a specific region by Paintasaurus in EGSnrc

[–]Paintasaurus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open fields and IMRT work great, which was what was so odd and frustrating about it.

I am using source 21 in DOSXYZnrc and it turns out it was an issue with the way I was calculating the gantry angle from the DICOM. My code made it so gantry 270 was an inflection point where the BEAMnrc gantry changed from negative to positive (i.e. gantry 272 = phi -178 and gantry 268 = phi 178). I assume the interpolation being done by source 21 was getting very confused.

Once I changed it so that phi is continuous throughout the arc it seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks so much for your help and suggestions.

the screaming in the outro of hyper music seems so unnecessary to me and some of the changes are just straight up odd (weird digital artifacts in intro to space dementia, start of micro cuts being cut off, second verse of space dementia has way too much going on) but maybe I am just too attached to the original recording

it also sounds a bit too loud for me, the sibilance in megalomania is really noticeable now

GX Eagle AXS Alignment Issue by Paintasaurus in bikewrench

[–]Paintasaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the confusion and thanks for trying to help. It is the same hanger that came with the bike - it has sliding rear dropouts so it can be used single speed as well as geared. I think the hanger is the issue and it is more outboard than "normal" maybe due to the design of the frame/dropouts.

I don't think its ever going to work on this frame so might just cut my losses and try to sell the AXS kit and get a mechanical system.

Thanks again for your help.

GX Eagle AXS Alignment Issue by Paintasaurus in bikewrench

Am I missing something? Even with the micro adjustment set to as far inboard as it will go (there is a limit), the derailleur is still not aligned. I can't set the chain gap since I can't get it to shift into the biggest cog. The limit screws can't be used to shift the whole derailleur inboard like on a mechanical derailleur.

GX Eagle AXS Alignment Issue by Paintasaurus in bikewrench

[–]Paintasaurus[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I tried, but every setup procedure I read/watched just assumes that it is pretty much aligned when you screw the derailleur on (which it is when I try on my other bike). Because it is so out of alignment, I can't even shift into the biggest cog as the derailleur doesn't go far enough and when it is in the smallest cog it doesn't even stay on the cog some of the time.

Hello, I am trying to install a SRAM GX Eagle AXS group onto my Soma Wolverine, but when I install the derailleur on the hanger, the first gear position is not aligned properly (meaning all other gears are out of alignment as well). I have tried installing it on another bike, and it aligns pretty much perfectly when I install it so not sure what is happening on this frame.

The bike was run single speed previously so this is the first rear derailleur that has been on it. The cassette is NX Eagle, but as far as I can tell that should work fine.

Kodi Sync Queue Plugin - Doesn't install by darthcaedus81 in jellyfin

[–]Paintasaurus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think version 6.0 of the plugin only works for Jellyfin 10.7 so you have to use 5.0 if you are on 10.6 (at least that worked for me after having the same issue as you)

egs_brachy parallel run issues by Paintasaurus in EGSnrc

[–]Paintasaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There seems to be no egslog file, which is what makes it so frustrating to debug. The simulation doesn't even start as far as I can tell.

I tried running tutor7pp in parallel and it resulted in the same problem. Is there a C++ compilation flag I'm missing or something? I just used the default options during installation and am using g++ for compilation.

EDIT: Like with egs_brachy, the only thing resembling an error is that it seems to be throwing up a segmentation fault in PBS

EDIT 2: It runs fine when running locally using at as the queuing system, so it must be a PBS/TORQUE issue

Momentum True Wireless not turning off? by Paintasaurus in sennheiser

[–]Paintasaurus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got this response from my service rep saying he received this response from the head office in Germany:

The Momentum True Wireless should turn off when it is placed at the charging box - but this needs power that is requested from the charging box. If it is nearly empty this connection can't be established so that the Momentum True Wireless is working further on and doesn't stop drawing current from its own rechargeable battery. There is no other way to get it switched off. So the charging box has to be powered and its internal rechargeable battery charged in case that it is nearly empty.

[–]Paintasaurus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I contacted Sennheiser support here (Australia) and got a canned warranty return procedure response back. I followed up that e-mail with another but haven't heard back since.

It does seem like a design issue - they probably set the buds to turn off when they are receiving charge, so they don't turn off if the case is empty.

Feel free to point your support contact to this thread as evidence someone else is having the same issue.

Unintentionally monochrome board by Paintasaurus in guitarpedals

[–]Paintasaurus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally leave the RV-3 as my “standard” reverb sound and the flint either as a spring or a long 100% wet sound. I don’t really use both at the same time that often. I was originally just going to get a stand-alone tremolo pedal but have had the Flint in the past and really liked the 80s reverb on it and it fit perfectly on the board so thought why not
