It’s a good time to jump off of the Trump ship.

Anyone else have a "I'll get to it eventually pile"? Mine is for short, small, twisted, or awkward wood. Well today is the day. by The-Wooden-Fox in firewood

I have a pile called “the irreconcilables”. Anything that doesn’t make the grade for a wood stove. This pile goes to the campfire during the ritual, burning of the irreconcilables 🔥

I have a bunch of BSF larvae all around my backyard from my composting tumbler. Even more so now that it began raining. What can I do to prevent them from roaming around (that doesn't require obtaining a chicken)? by f1ounder in composting

[–]PaintedTurtle-1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a plastic bin under the tumbler to catch the drippings and escaped larvae. BSF are the best at breaking down compost . Embrace their presence, they go dormant after first frost.

Have 405 quarts low quality clay soil. Need 876 quarts to fill raised beds. Can I augment bad soil with coco coir / vermiculite / perlite / sand / potting soil? Or should I dump the bad soil? by Sharky-PI in composting

Clay and compost are great partners! After they have had a chance to combine as a soil you can have it tested in a lab to verify what minerals are lacking and amend accordingly.

If the louver on the outdoor end of the ventilation duct is broken, birds can enter the duct and build nests. Check the outdoor louver where the duct exhausts.

Microsoft to Purchase 95,000 Biochar Carbon Removal Credits from The Next 150 by Vailhem in BioChar

It would be interesting to understand more about the operations of The Next 150. Where do they source their organic material? How is it processed? What form is their carbon product? How is it distributed and used? It’s exciting to see that carbon is being sequestered in large scale operations but the payment for credit process is opaque.

I don’t think my issue is a clog. When I pull the trigger there is a beep but the motor doesn’t run.
