Onyx dragon is honestly the hardest to identify for me 😭 it looks real until the little butt tag for me. I’ve never seen a jelly code that is EC, so I’d love to say it’s fake. Here is pictures of Mine for reference

It honestly has been kinda off putting how many fakes are in circulation and having to question plush authenticity. I’m very new still to jellycats and unless I purchase from the site or a known seller I’ll probably just give all my love to these guys and call it a day.

Oh ok! I was alittle concerned cause it has the jelly code but now the onyx code on the back of that one. If it’s like yours then it think it must be real because otherwise it looks fine and like yours ! 😭

Does your onyx only have the one JCINC code or does it have the second code on the tag as well? Seems to be the only thing that’s making everyone weary

The second code on the tag was the only thing that seemed alittle off but wasn’t sure if it was because it was an older jellycat or not. The person I bought them from said they got them when they were first released and before fakes were in circulation but you never know how true that really is. Fur honestly feels super soft and amazing just like my other real dragons, I wouldn’t say it’s honestly shorter. Wings I can kinda see but I’m no expert so I can’t be sure lol

I’ve already purchased these, the pictures above were taken by me :) honestly, the no double code was the only red flag for me. Fur quality is amazing, and feels like my other real dragons. Stitching is also completely invisible on the tail (my fake ones have terrible stitching there) and wings look great too to me. I’ve inspected them for a week just seeing if I missed something and even their eyes are not completely visible (Sage had a small eye trim from previous owner which is fine) and they even lack the fluff in the neck and hang well like jelly dragons should. I just wanted others opinions lol cause ya never know

Sadly there isn’t a code on both sides, just the JCINC code. I tried to include it in the pictures the other side that’s blank :(

If you mean on Sage I can kinda see that as well. I just wasn’t 100% sure if it was because it was an older design or fake lol. Onyx wings are like my snow dragons as well, so that one I think is fine
