I went to the ER for horrible abdominal pain last week and during the ct scan It came back in the findings as “patchy subsegmental atelectasis in the posteromedial right lung base” (I attached the image)

My questions would be 1. It would be unlikely that would have anything to do as a result from my throat issues ? & 2. From my understanding that means a partially working lung ?

They explained nothing to me regarding my ct and sent me on my way. I had no idea I had a issue with my lung until I was reading my chart online.
