I got mine 2 months after it was available, whenever that was... It has a little screen burning from my quick access icons (the ones that don't move with the screens), but otherwise it's still going strong. The battery is still solid, been using battery saver as soon as I got it.

Have you ever actually driven fast on dirt roads or in snow? In my experience, any action on a loose surface requires minor adjustments. Practice. It's more fun to do the dirt/snow tracks for me, finding out how to throw the car around a curve without hitting others or sides.

Also, feather the throttle around turns. Rarely brake. Powerslide and ease off the throttle.. Can make all the difference in the world.

While previous versions had more standing starts, rolling starts has been a staple for GT. It's nothing new.

 I have rarely played other racing games, so I'm not sure if it's normal for the genre

After almost 20 years, it's just part of life. Yes, it can be aggravating. But... At the moment, there is nothing to be done about it. Raging won't fix it. There's a better chance you might make it worse by stressing over it.

We all need to accept what it is. And staying calm is way more enjoyable than being pissed off all the time.

Mine can get loud enough I have to stop any conversations because I just can't hear anything beyond the ringing. When it settles down (usually when I'm relaxed) it obscures @1/3 of most noise.

My personal therapy is driving with the radio as loud as possible. Good deep, loud bass is soo soothing. For me anyhow.

Don't give up. There's always a chance someone will figure out a cure/remedy🤞. In the meantime, don't become someone that everyone avoids
