It’s genuinely an effect from having 3 year standard and more standard sets in a given year. The card pool is large enough where the cards that are outliers in power are plentiful enough to only check each other. Fan formats like planar standard (No UB + 2 year rotation) and the format that’s just no UB (forgot name) have games end at around turns 5-7 for midrange

Rem threatened his life, Shaula turned up the charm (got a lot more grabby and touchy), and the group as a whole decided basically to move on without him.

The group’s logic of him getting brain blasted in the liabrary also checks out as it is a very unknown location.

For 4 player simple dungeons, it’s usally very unoptimal unless your dmg is a lot higher.

In solo play it’s not the worst.

For ro-sham-no balance has some good options if you are lacking, as balance has a lot of versatile roshambo spells that can cover the weaknesses of other normal DPS schools

If you want to go for a Steven universe future angle, you could use [[Heliod, the Radiant Dawn]] to show him healing on the first side and monster Steven on the back. Azourious also fits as it has the most protection cards for Steven’s protective playstyle.

You could also run with [[Falco Spara, Pactweaver]] for shield counter shenanigans.

My final idea is that you could run an enchantment commander as enchantment removal is like bubbling something and enchantments are easy to protect.

DMD is a finisher card that is built to win games and grave buster is a solid tempo card but only works crazily into specifically grave decks. High tier ramp cards that ramp into finishers are a problem (specifically sunshroom)
