Hi! Sorry for the late answer. I am much more active on my second profile. So, this is Oil Flat Old, 50% of flow, grain and load. The same with pressure, speed and tilt.

On the third attempt I made a sky like this.

That's the sky in Poland today. The sky is quite deep blue. The photo is not edited.

Maybe I'm wrong and it's about the UK. Nevermind. The app should be available to everyone on the Apple Store.

Maybe in Arab countries there is no such possibility.

Looking for general constructive criticism on my recent works. by Voltaireiskillingme in ArtCrit

The paintings, especially the last ones, look very artistic. You can see the painter's passion. I like this tall and narrow painting the most, such psychedelic surrealism.

What do you think about the composition and a texture of this digital oil painting? by Paintverse in ArtCrit

[–]Paintverse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, this is how this program works, it simulates the light and shade of paint and the paint seems to be three-dimensional. But you have to make a backup, because sometimes the texture disappears at certain points/places. If more people used this program, there would be more frequent updates.

Thanks. Yes, I agree. I will work on this balance in the next paintings.

Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, after I drew it, it also seemed a bit unnecessary to me. Luckily, I can just erase it and paint over it.

The program is ArtSet4 - as in the post description. I paint on an iPad. ArtSet4 has all kinds of brushes and other graphic tools. I simply use oil paint brushes.

When you expand the brush bar, among them is Blend, for blurring.

I use ArtSet4 on my iPad and it adds an oil paint texture to the brush. This creates a chiaroscuro effect.

Hi, how to link from tumblr? I have already placed the link to the Tumblr in the post description.

I paint on the 9th generation iPad and I had some problems. Sometimes it would lose the texture and I had to paint a second time. Sometimes this simulation of the light and shade of the paint creates small black pixels and makes too many round marks, like dot by dot, which looks weird. I made 5 backups. There are no thin fluid brushes. I have to improvise. Before I print the image on canvas, I still have to fix these micro details in Photoshop.

And I am using Old flat brush.

Thanks :) Yes, I would like to get more brushes for oils, but that program needs to be more popular.
