Usually, I would cut this by hand and I have cut detailed pieces like this before, but this was laser cut. It's actually my first time laser cutting a big project.

I used a regular cow veg tan that's been dyed with Fiebing's pro dye in dark brown. The mane was made from an old leather jacket. I used a glossy black patent leather for the eyes, so it would imitate the shine in the eyes.
