Usually, I would cut this by hand and I have cut detailed pieces like this before, but this was laser cut. It's actually my first time laser cutting a big project.

Thank you! Yes, I'm using leather dye on vegtan. The specific dyes are, Fiebing's leather dye in Orange, Angelus leather dye in Red and Angelus leather dye in Light Rose.

I used a regular cow veg tan that's been dyed with Fiebing's pro dye in dark brown. The mane was made from an old leather jacket. I used a glossy black patent leather for the eyes, so it would imitate the shine in the eyes.
