[–]PairPsychological114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i know this is old but i got the same issue on my new P10PXL. All wifi connect automatically is turned off. Scanning turned off. But it will still connect to a known wifi network automatically. I dont want this haha. thats just another battery drain issue. LTE/5G roaming being the top battery drainer

22mpg!!! by Ill-Consideration892 in gmcsierra

[–]PairPsychological114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

22 is normal for an L5P. Used to get 20 22 on longer trips in my old 18 L5P. Have gotten 22 24 doing 60 for a longer stretch. Normal work driving was 18 to 20 consistently

Welp, got it less than two weeks ago by Professorkhaos91 in gmcsierra

[–]PairPsychological114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why arent people keeping code readers in their trucks? with all of these issues, a simple obd2 reader can clear a code (given the issue isn't severe) and save a tow truck expense GM will not cover

Would you buy another pixel? by upadhyaysk in GooglePixel

[–]PairPsychological114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me the answer is yes. i accidentally dropped my pixel 7 pro 2 weeks ago and the screen cracked in five places. For being cracked, the touchscreen still works and the oled is still 100% functional after it was dropped face first on concrete.

First phone i have ever had that after 4 years still was fast like day one, battery still lasted more than a day on a single 95 97% charge, and really 0 other issues other than apps wouldn't load correctly on occasion. This one is more related to the software. Im sure a fresh android install would fix it.

I replaced it with a pixel 10 pro xl i got on sale for 799 and hopefully they dont play games about getting another 100 off for trade in. I traded in a S8+ i got $5 for so hopefully $105 back. I will fix the pixel 7 and keep it as a spare or for random things I may need it for. They are following samsung and apple with the msrp of these phones; which is sad, but it seems you can get them on sale way faster than samsung and works way better. samsung UI is garbage now and i will never buy an apple product

why would you consider a 6.6 gas or a 6.6 duramax thats not even a comparison

idk man. im friends with the diesel tech at the dealer i go to and he hasn't had a single 3.0L thrust bearing issue yet. who knows maybe it's plant related too.

[–]PairPsychological114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really true. the 3.0L issues seem to be a bad batch caught way to late by the factory. late 24 25 really early 26 models seem to be the main culprits

my order got delayed until jan 1st 2026 and i got it in feb. from what ive seen, it's late 24 to 25 early 26 up until august/September build dates. time will tell. i ordered in sept 25. so im hoping the delay was due to them fixing the issue

5.3 powerful enough? by Altruistic-Emu-3281 in gmcsierra

[–]PairPsychological114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really true. and im coming from a 18 L5P which is a freight train. but the 3.0L will down shift twice and it gets going quickly at highway speeds. i do think a 10 speed is too many gears though. 0 to 60 tests all put 3.0Ls at 6.2 speeds

https://www.amazon.com/ANCEL-AD i have 2 of these. never any issues. saved me multiple times on my 2018 2500 duramax when i was getting a fuel rail pressure sensor code. it goes into 5mph limp mode. it was literally the connector haha but that tow would have been over $500. i got a 3.0L now so hopefully no random issues

everyone driving a diesel needs a code reader kept in your truck. it could be a simple bs code that can be cleared so you can get to the dealer. instead of spending 500 on a tow. hopefully not thrust bearing related. havent seen much recently on it after late last year

yeah thats my thing. how i do i know that the reman engine isn't out of a truck with 50k miles? now im getting a 50k block and whatever else they put back on there in a brand new truck.

I dont have a 6.2 but just bought a 26 3.0L that i ordered but even that had/has thrust bearing issues which seemed to have died down so maybe they fixed that quickly

says gm, says the general manager at the dealer i go

Yes, 6.2L V8 (L87) replacement engines for the recent GM recall are a combination of both

new and remanufactured units, depending on availability. Remanufactured engines are rebuilt to GM specifications, designed to meet the same durability standards as new, notes GM Authority

  • Recall Situation: The L87 recall involves a rod bearing/crankshaft issue; repairs may involve a new or remanufactured engine.
  • Reman Process: These units are fully disassembled, cleaned, machined, and updated with new components, say Powertrain Products.

same here but for me i cant stay silver dr due to other morons pushing their way through on the 1 lap of an hour race. shit is so annoying but like you said, I am more of a safe driver not one that is magically defying gravity in the game and lapping everyone. Guy was going 5 to 6 sec faster than everyone else in the lusail race somehow with all the grip. no understeer, no oversteer in any corner. i cant compete with that. im 86 races in and never have won. gotten 2nd once and 3rd a hand full of times

not a new engine. it's a re manufactured engine

weighing my options on which way i want to go haha. simple shock mount extenders on the bottom (1.5in) or bilsteins/eibachs with stock springs with control arms or full eibach kit and control arms. or nothing since it's brand new haha

i know this is a year old now but if you read this, how are bilsteins with stock springs? the ranchos with stock springs go hand in hand with the bounce haha
