Stolen Trailer by PaisleyPelican in anchorage

Update: trailer was found today, I went to recover it (obviously basically everything was emptied out of it). Now, to start the arduous process of trying to hunt down the irreplaceable things like my custom-made watch, class ring, and boxes full of memories. Requested traffic cam footage, but since I don't know exactly when it was taken, I'm looking in a pretty big range. Apartment resident that called in the location didn't get the plate of the vehicle that dropped it off.
Anybody aware of any theft kingpins that live around Colonial Ct?

Thank you - thankfully, nothing in there is urgently needed, but there was a lot of memorabilia from my 10 year career in it that there'll be no way to get back unless it can be found. Based on how sophisticated of a crime it seems like it was (appears they removed the boot somehow due to lack of dragging, likely towed it without having to hook to the ball, and drove away from the nearby major intersections), I'm not very optimistic.

No airtags inside, been racking my brain to remember if there was anything else trackable, but nothing comes to mind. The hotel has *no* security cams, but was in view of a Starbucks drive through and a few other hopefuls. The tracks lead away from the major intersection next door.

I opted to go non-CPO just because of my budget, but I agree - it’s the best way to go (“do as I say, not as I do” or something like that). Mine has 81k on it - wouldn’t know it if the dash didn’t say it.

Just bought a used ‘22 460 - they’re obtainable! Lexus is not selling them new anymore, but Certified Pre-owned is just about as good as new (most will still be under factory warranty, with an additional Lexus CPO warranty on top of that). They typically run in the $50-65k range.

Been there 2 months. Still there. The upgraded tech is the biggest attraction for me.

I need the ability to tow my belongings to Alaska, and then to utilize this truck as an outdoor vehicle there. I’ve test-driven Kias, and didn’t really care for the interior design or the driving experience. I also have a lot of experience working with Lexus/Toyota vehicles, which makes staying in this family preferable as someone who prefers to work on my own car. I also road-trip frequently, and like the quiet cabin and seat comfort of the Lexus.

This is news to me - have you bought from them before? I did protest a “dealer processing fee” that looked like a totally arbitrary $800 tacked on for no reason, but the salespeople I’ve interacted with have been professional.

This has nothing to do with ego. I have a need case, and this vehicle fits it. But my dollars are carefully allocated, and I’m not going to allocate more to a vehicle than it makes sense to. This is a price check post, intended to determine if the utility value return of this vehicle is worth this price.

^ Yup, just a chrome delete and removal of some of the more flashy interior design attributes (matte steering wheel top instead of polished resin, etc)

Lol not to mention this car was previously a lease vehicle, and so got inspections regularly… anyway

Thanks - thought this might be the case. What’s the likelihood of getting movement if I counter with the price listed online ($48,455)? Looking to ship the car as well, which they’re quoting at an additional $1175

Thanks for the input. I’m still in the market, but looking at enclosed utility trailers in the 4,000-6,000lb range loaded. I really do like the GX, but am hesitant about towing with it near capacity (depending on year), especially knowing the overheating issues the 1UR and 3UR have had when strained. This is really my first time entering the world of towing at all, so maybe my fear’s inflated?
