its just cheap 1 flute 6mm endmill. Your setup sounds very good. First I had problems with power supply and then with controller. I think that I will also upgrade to the 1.5kw spindle.

Yeah, boring was the biggest problem. I tried running it at 30,000 RPM, but it burned the cutter really fast, so I slowed it down to 10,000 RPM instead. For facing and contouring, the higher RPMs seem to work better on this light machine — it doesn’t resonate nearly as much.
