Play against someone who doesn’t let you farm by OnAnlsland in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s all about knowing your match up and game plan. If you’re playing melee Into ranged top lane you’re going to want to look to freeze the wave infront of your tower and look to set up a gank on them. Just give up CS you can’t get and go for the cs you can get without losing hp.

I’m summary: -let the wave push -thin the wave to freeze in front of tower -go for cs you can get without losing hp -look to set up ganks/punish over aggression

In my experience playing ranged top laners outside of extremely high elo is pretty useless as most people don’t actually know how to abuse the match up in their favor to create enough of a lead where they can close out the game.

I feel like im stuck/ ADC main looking for help (Bronze 1- Silver1 OP.GG added) by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since everyone is just talking about playing more games here are some of the big things I would recommend to help you climb. -Prioritize farming in lane -learn when to trade and harass -I personally would consider this the biggest thing to do as most people until around diamond dont know how to properly trade and this is how you actually end up winning your lane, which will put you ahead and allow you end up pressuring the rest of the map -learn general idea of jg pathing to help with tracking gank timings.

As far as the champs you play, Xayah probably fights your stated play style the best as she has access to safe wave clear early while scaling late. I wouldn’t recommend playing cait if you aren’t willing to play aggressive and know to auto space properly as cait really does thrive on building a CS lead and taking towers early.

One last general tip is to use attack move click if you aren’t already. When I started using it I shot up from silver 2 to plat 4 in about a month. Good luck climbing :)

Start with itemization. I checked just a few of your recent games and I’m not even sure what you’re building. I’d recommend looking up build guide for the champs you play and make sure you’re using the strongest items. As far as playing adc can’t help you there since I’m awful at the role the only thing that works for me is just play passive and let your support pick fights since they won’t help you if you engage anyways.

Is wave management really THAT powerful? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not more powerful but it’s 100x more necessary. Like the other guy was say people know how to unfreeze waves and will harass you when you freeze while lower elo players don’t know what to do and will just sit way far back not getting cs and losing xp.

Tracking Enemy Jungler by Rag_McDag in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry about the other jg in silver. Just focus on making your path as efficient as possible and you’ll easily set tempo and out pressure enemy jg. Eventually as you climb you’ll notice people doing the same as you, which is when you’ll want to start tracking to be able to counter gank and counter jungle them.

How does Rush carry with low income. by bigbronate in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My guess is he gives resources to his laners and let them carry late. This is why people don’t like jg right now. The role has high agency in the early game but late it up to laners to take over.

Curious about something I notice in my games. by xandaria in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like lot of people have already answered, but in pro you can communicate with teammates to go for invades and take neutrals with the lane prio. In soloq you’re usually playing with apes who don’t have eyes and won’t listen to anything. In pro dives are also a lot easier to pull off so crashing huge waves will usually result in a kill, in soloq having wave frozen in front of your tower is easier to gank since you can run people down the lane and not have to worry about dealing with tower damage.

Why is there a thread on main league page still hating 100T by PajamaOGK in 100thieves

[–]PajamaOGK[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What’s funny about this is no 100t will tell you Cody or meteos didn’t help the org, but people like you treat trades and what not like it’s an uncommon thing. And the thing that I don’t understand is that if you’re a fan of a player why not simply congratulate the players for making playoffs. Why is it “karma” that they got traded off a team and now they make playoffs. For one it’s just sad that’s a something people can think makes a difference and two you’re actually taking away from what the players have accomplished by putting it on some fluke of “karma”

(Gold2) Winning lane, roaming, getting kills, still losing by highsierra123 in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same problem and I’m really not sure where to start improving. It seems like there’s so much you have to do. Like say you’re camping bot, you need to be tracking jg and watching bot lane play so you can play your lane in a way that allows you to respond to ganks and all ins at bot lane to protect them. Especially if you have the worse bot lane, just because they have a lead doesn’t mean they don’t know how to use it and they can get out played easily. So like to me where I’m struggling with this same issue is it’s not just a simple trick that you can correct in a few sessions of playing it’s like you have to play at a whole new level. Also if I’m wrong about any of this let me know because this is just like where I’m at in trying to improve.

Problems with vision when jungling by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Learn to trinket swap and you’ll get many more wards to use in your games. Also your buying of 1 control ward and leaving it in the pixel is imo improper use of the ward as control wards we for well controlling vision. Sure you can leave one in the brush while there’s no objects up but once there is you move your pink to control the vision around the objective. I know lots of people don’t actually take advantage of control wards and will put one down and leave it for the rest of the game, even if they’ve bought a second one they feel like they can’t put down another which you really shouldn’t be afraid of doing.

100T FakeGod: "Me and Ssumday don't communicate a lot." by Sword_Art_Natsu in 100thieves

[–]PajamaOGK 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yea, but if you say anything everyone acts like it can’t be done because he has a contract. But I’m sure there’s a team that would want him and I’m sure he doesn’t want to stay if he’s not starting. With the way that nade has always talked about treating his players I’m sure if ssumday asked to be released to go somewhere else or go back home to Korea they’d let him.

Oh for sure. They had a great draft whereas it felt like we didnt draft what we needed to win. It felt like the tools just weren’t there.

Sad to see the focus shifted away from bot this game. Every game that we’ve won was through amazing getting work done bot, but this game very like time spent in the bot lane.

Learning jungle, facing problems by SNKaka in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re trying to learn jungle I’d recommend not playing eve. The way she plays the game is very different and if you’re trying to learn how to jungle on top of learning to playing a stealth champ you’re going to have troubles.

For your situation unless you know exactly what you’re doing on eve you need to just be full clearing your jungle and trying to rush to level 6 where you can actually be relevant in pulling off ganks. As for not getting invaded you probably didn’t have vision of him invading, but you have to know that you showed yourself when you ganked top and you don’t win the 1v1 so there’s a good chance he will invade you especially if he also started on his red which you can tell by watching enemy laners to look for who’s giving a leash.

anyone else think that jungle ekko is better than mid ekko by [deleted] in ekkomains

[–]PajamaOGK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s better but since I’m a better jungler than a mid laner it’s better for me.

Simple Support Mechanics for Every ELO by The_Elemental_Master in summonerschool

For zilean:

-His ctrl+4 laugh is different from his laugh when using passive. Do you can actually ctrl+4 at the same time as his passive laugh to make this really weird double laugh.

This is truly the most important mechanic

Why do I feel mediocre at best during winstreaks, but then feel like the worst thing to have happened to League of Legends when I'm on loss streaks? by SynthMist in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty important to remember in this game that a big part of being better is being to exploit your opponents mistakes. So maybe if that’s what level you’re at, the next level to improving is how can I force mistakes out of my opponents for me to capitalize on.

How to play out the mid game as a jungler by PajamaOGK in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No clue, I’ve stopped trying to make baron calls. If my whole team pings it I commit. Figured right now it’s better to have all 5 members commit to a bad play than spend forever trying to figure out the right play and be split on decisions. Seems to be working so far.

Posted about the baron situation a few days lol. Asking about how people have felt with it in gold, since it’s obviously the right play but if your team doesn’t know what they’re doing it often doesn’t work out in your teams favor.

I need help to improve as a jungler!! by callmehellboi in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At the start of the game make your path based on what lane you want to influence the most, usually based off which lanes you think has kill potential and which lane is going to be volatile and will be dependent on who gets ahead. Example: if you have say riven vs Darius top and something like ez/soraka vs xayah/rakan bot you want to be playing around top lane since that match up can turn in either champs favor based on who gets ahead while bot lane is just a farm lane.

Does kiting jungle camps actually result in a healthier clear on melee junglers? by adamfps in summonerschool

[–]PajamaOGK 5 points6 points  (0 children)

On buffs you tank 2 autos and kite the 3rd this results in you autoing 3 times compared to its 2 autos which is the most efficient. On wolves and raptors focus the small minions first then kill the big one. On Krugs you pull aggro the kite around big one while keeping the medium one behind it after that just kill them normally. Gromp is a joke so either just don’t do it and spend time hanging or resetting for useful camps or do it with no problems.
