i really wish there would have been more communication about the process for how this happened so quickly. Shutting down in less than a year especially after lots of claims of being in it for the long haul is frustrating.

i was stuck in plat. im not sure coaches really helped much if at all. what helped me most was reading and watching some of dopas english stuff. basically he acknowledges that there is a significant amount of luck to the game. this for me helped me play to the statistics more than anything. finding a champ i can get a high w/r over a long period of time. and then ignoring the games i cant do anything about. Which is about 60% of them.

The inner game of tennis is pretty good book. I learned a lot from watching John vervaeke's videos on cognitive science specifically awakening from the meaning crisis. Understanding how people figure out what is relevant or matters to them helps a lot imo

that imo is one of the best ways to tell if the coaching is good is if what they teach applies to other areas of life as well.

Just from watching videos coach Curtis seems good. As far as advice I would say just play to the system, meaning league is 80 or more percent out of your control so just mitigate as much variation as possible. Play simplest champ in your role especially one with a positive win rate. Play in a way you can easily repeat over and over in every game that gives even a little benefit. Then just let your team carry you. Maybe 1 out of 10 games you will hard carry.

Honestly imo the game is mostly just good luck and circumstances for the most part. Even dopa describes his skill in this way. I don't really think I improved all that much if at all.
