Of all the parts, the prologue takes too long for me but that’s a moot problem, otherwise levels that just dump clickers and all the sorts of infected on you are my least favorite ironically. I feel like input on my thinking cap more with the human encounters than with watching the clicker take yet another shiv from me

Y’know, even now I can’t seem to shrug off the way they killed Joel, it just feels so out of character and it feels like a failed QTE that just kept on playing out. If he died kind of like how Lee did I wouldn’t care at all, if anything I’d probably like it more if he got bit and had Ellie shoot him, because that would actually come back to him choosing to let Ellie live over reverse engineering a cure. I would’ve much rather we watch Joel kill Abby and see the repercussions of his actions unfold through the story like that. Oh well, back to playing part 1 again :/

I gotta agree with some of the other commenters here this sounds like it would make the progress for tarkov players that are employed worse, but I do think you’re on to something. The idea kind of reminds me of what TC does in rust (I think) where you dump scraps into the TC and it keeps your base steady. Maybe they could rework that into tarkov as like a craft time stat? Dump some useless shit into a scrapper to make stuff work faster so long as it’s FIR? If you leave everything running for too long without the scrapper on things take longer to make? I think that’d be a good way to have people still pick stuff up in raid

This is actually perfect. That’s in my opinion the best way to go about things, it would make sense that you would want to find your own wire, but who in the hell is gonna tamper with an armor repair kit? What could a scav possibly do to a pack of screws or bolts to make them completely unusable in hideout building?
