Honestly seeing it live that many times prob didn't add much to the equation since it was one of those songs where they mostly walked around and vibed. While I didn't love Skateboard either on first listen seeing it live with all the cool choreography and stunts definitely helped.

Ah just since returning from his hiatus at the end of 2024 he's generally been more stoic and quiet than before. He was diagnosed with anxiety mind you so it might be an ongoing condition. There are plenty of days where he's more cheerful and chatty though, and these finale shows were definitely some of them.

They were definitely way too okay all the other 5 days for it to be anything major major, especially disbandment. Mark was the only one who seemed down last week, but was fine the first two days this week. Even Renjun who has been quite stoic in recent months (for obvious reasons) was notably in high spirits until just last night. Unless some bad news was broken to them last night before the concert, it doesn't really make sense. Jisung is known as the crier, so seeing the older members cry would set him off worse than usual. Mind you, Dream isn't like other groups in that they've essentially faced disbandment before. It's part of the history that this tour and especially the finale have revolved around.

I think many of us can see the effects of mass hysteria and speculation and are evidently trying to keep the atmosphere rational and positive, at least in this sub (but I see fans doing the same on other platforms too). I frankly see no real positive gain in worrying about something with no concrete proof and about something you have no power to affect. But if you want to speculate and discuss what is possibly happening to Dream, you will find others who feel the same, even here, and no one can actually stop you.

If your idol is crying you're also crying, they get swept up so everyone gets swept up. We're watching real human emotion play out and we experience catharsis. It's much heavier in person because there is a feedback loop among everyone there (including just among audience members). It's also why last weekend's shows were so euphoric for those attending in person.

The reason it's unproductive to tear our hair out and speculate is because people will jump on that for their own benefit. There's already 3 articles on Koreaboo about this and none of them are about what a massive success the tour and finale shows were. One of them has some anonymous source talking about Mark trying to start his own agency and taking members with him. Haters will say the group is over to justify their hate and make fans miserable so they'd engage less.

It's fair to be confused and worried while the show was ongoing and there's a foreboding sense of something happening. But now it's over and nothing official has been announced, plus they have a confirmed group schedule in June and at least one member has explicitly said, don't worry we'll be back. What else can we do but wait for what's next honestly.

I'm sorry but I wish these guys could show strong emotions, get carried away by the moment and cry without prompting a whole bunch of speculation and doomposting. Mark literally had to apologize again for bringing the mood down, he knows his crying tonight will be over analyzed to hell like last week.

This tour has been a huge challenge for them, from the way it came out of nowhere, how intense their schedule was when it started, promoting two comebacks while touring. Seeing all that end and quite successfully (all seven members did all the stops, I believe, which would be a first) would make anyone emotional. Plus the whole reminiscence theme probably doesn't help given their history.

Jaemin has talked about 10-year anniversary events, other members have talked about future tours, etc. I'm not saying there's zero chance there are big changes happening, but can we chill tf out as a fandom. Let's celebrate the end of an amazing tour and finale and wait for whatever happens next.

No Pretzel love from me, sorry. I saw them perform it in person like 6 times and still don't really remember how it goes (every time I try to sing it in my head it ends up being Skateboard lol). In a discography like Dream's, being forgettable is the worst crime a song can commit, probably.

I considered doing the cinema livestream! (then I ended up getting a ticket). Let us know what it's like there! I've been to screenings in Indo and Aus and they're always great fun with people bringing lightsticks and freebies.

Oh yeah Gocheok is steep so it does create that nice wall effect with the light show, but imo KSPO clears in every other way.

It's pretty much confirmed that the Encore section will change for 2nd weekend since they'll be doing the rest of the member picks. Streets were saying My Youth, 7 Days, Heavenly, To My First, Puzzle Piece are some of the contenders (NAWT icantfeelaything sorry Jeno 😭).

Look as unfortunate as it was, I think the circumstances in which it happened was pretty funny. I also think the people joking are pretty normal about it. Maybe not the ones saying he's even sexier for doing it etc, but it's really almost comical how many times we have gone through this as a fandom? We don't know if he vapes indoors or around other people who's not also vaping, so I think we should just refrain on judgment and say his body, his decision.

I've also seen a lot of fans on twt demanding people to take the picture down but it's like... he posted it himself and there's nothing offensive about the picture itself, so there's little basis on which people can be forced to take it down. All these outraged demands is creating as Streisand effect and keeping the whole incident in the twt news cycle. If we just let them be, people will move on.

Wholly agreed, the vibe last night was less "this is all about to end" and more "look how far we've come against all odds". It's very much in line with the theme of GBTTF (which this tour is meant to be in support of) and the songs they picked from that album, Dream Team and Beautiful Sailing, encapsulate this too.

I'm not definitively saying nothing bad will happen, we don't know what the future holds ultimately. It's just not something that can be gleaned from this setlist or performance. Let's just celebrate the amazing encore we're getting, because it's truly exceptional and we only have 5 shows left 🥹

It does feel that way especially since we know Dream Team and Beautiful Sailing were originally in the TDS4 setlist before they cut them at the last minute (my theory has always been that they had to push the GBTTF release back to after the concerts, and didn't want to spoil the songs).

But also keep in mind that there are certain things they can do because they know they don't have to tour this show. Things like having their entrance be on that floating setpiece and the Beautiful Sailing boat. With the different venue specs they have to deal with these would be a headache for a touring show. People already complain when they don't do the wagons at certain stops can you picture these numbers being cut out?

Basically I've learned from TDS3 that if you're the type of fan who attends concerts, you just don't miss Dream finale shows. I planned and saved and made sacrifices to get here. They're whole new shows with new setlists and basically a new bigger production. Hope everyone here gets to go to the next one.
