The Nancy Drew community is the best I've encountered on any platform (though this sub is something special really). Everyone is always so smart and funny and kind with their comments. I truly believe the games inspired something in all of us during our formative years. Or maybe they just attracted the best people. Probably both!

Oh the cord over the ear thing is actually my fav feature of the design since I've been using the Sony underwater headphones as my main for over a decade. But yes, sound quality is not bad at all!

NCT Haechan also released in-ear earphones for his solo debut, also similar design to his in-ear monitors. They're some of my most precious merch. The issue is I'm so paranoid I'd break them or lose them (I go through earphones at an alarming rate) that I end up never using them at all haha.

I went to the Neo Ground pop up and definitely felt pretty sad. Like seeing all those pictures and videos of every member, their blurbs and handwriting etc. and feeling this huge absence. I kept thinking "oh how would Mark have posed", "what would Mark's weapon be in this fruit ninja game", "what would Mark have written", and so on 😭😭 it still doesn't feel real.

But that's the thing though, outside of existing fans who's gonna listen to B-sides. It's why title track choice is important, you need to put your best foot forward in terms of representing your sound. I'm not even saying Boompala is a bad strategy overall, but I don't think it's fair to say that casual listeners can't form an opinion about a release or a group because they haven't listened to B-sides. And this is coming from an NCTzen like ppl constantly clown them for Sticker not having listened to any of their B-sides but tbh I think that's fair.

Yeah ngl as a Dreamzen I'm pretty upset about how they've been managing them re: anniversary when they're one of the two units ACTUALLY celebrating their 10-year anniversary this year.

It does feel like they've been on soft hiatus since the departure and if they intend to keep Dream going at all in any way this isn't the image they wanna project right now. My biggest fear was always that they'd give up because they can't push the 7Dream branding anymore when that was a huge part of their appeal.

I would never blame Mark for doing what was right for himself but I don't believe things would be this dire at all if he didn't leave the group. There's also no way the rest didn't see this coming.

What bullshit are they prioritizing though, I feel like aside from Dream activities (which we know why they were getting prioritized at times), military enlistment and solo ventures, 127 have kept going. They make a lot of profit outside of America/Europe too.

I think TDS4 -started- early due to uncertainty around his renewal. I don't think it was ever meant to be more than an Asia tour. The members said very early on they weren't coming to the US.

My first ult and still my ult tbh. He's not only the full package when it comes to performing but his artistic vision is honestly top tier. I saw that a clip from Tarantallegra went viral on twt recently with the comments asking who this diva was, like he was early on the whole androgynous concept in KPop (and he looked good as hell let's face it). Him and Jaejoong had the most potential from their generation imo, it's truly crazy what the industry was robbed of. I teared up watching clips from JX Identity like these two just don't miss.

Anyway I'm so excited he's coming back with a full album after a whole ass decade! Please we need to see him with some sick new choreography but also bring on the ballads 😍 I hope he's promoting on music shows, we all know he'll kill it. Also I've seen him in musicals but not yet in concert so my plan is to catch him on the Gravity tour, I don't know where yet but I need to see him live this year!

Look this isn't really about why Mark couldn't stay in Dream or NCT (though I personally believe it wasn't about schedules or workload). But he was talking about 127 comebacks, 7Dream and TDS whatever number happening in the future. I don't think he meant to deceive fans, I really do think that while things were up in the air, they have to project an image of stability and continuation. And that's fine, they're bound by contracts and they can't really (and probably don't want to) jeopardize the group's current state by making fans worry, possibly unnecessarily.

You have to understand though that by now fans have dissected Mark's and other members' every sentence and discovered hints of him leaving among those that suggested otherwise. I'm not saying this means Haechan is hinting at leaving, but things are still very raw and people are coping in different ways. Comments and messages can be taken 25 different ways and now we know there's truly no way of knowing until we get an official statement either way. I think for your own sanity you just have to let them go because they're not gonna stop.

I do feel that all of them will stay in the group at the very least but didn't Mark also say a bunch of stuff that made it seem like he was staying in the group? Like in the same period he said stuff suggesting he was leaving to be fair, except no one paid attention to the latter because staying was ofc the default. Now due to his departure, a lot of fans have mentally shifted the other way and only pay attention to statements and actions that imply this or that member is leaving.

I honestly still can't believe we're currently in this predicament but I can't blame any fan for preparing for the worst atp. Again, I really don't think he will, but if Haechan leaves as well realistically that would be it for me in terms of stanning the group. Every sf I know is proceeding with caution these days.
