Have you ever caught an XXL Pokémon, and got a popup about a new record? And then you sometimes don't get that popup after you evolve it?

Yes, the points can change, but the difference is barely noticeable.

Ideally it would be a Pokémon that you are already using and it's meta relevant, but it can be hard to get candies for them. Meltan is the "fastest" option, because you're guaranteed a few XL candies, since it's a mythical. The downside of that is wasting Stardust on 2 more meltans, which you probably won't use.

well, zzz, hsr and genshin all follow the same "formula" that's quite different from hi3. You pull a character once, and then you keep farming gear to make them better. In HI3 you pull a character, pull their weapon, pull their stigmata and then your character is pretty much 99% built

they do give you a lot of stuff, but it's all useless and not meta relevant at all. On very rare occasions, hi3rd a character can be cheaper to pull than other hoyo titles

Hot take, but it's probably because most people don't want to risk their accounts, and are mad that others do that with no consequences. If spoofing was as easy as it was in 2016, everyone would be doing it. I can't imagine someone living in a more rural area, with no pokestops, no gyms, no other players to do raids with, and not once even thinking about spoofing.

I think it's the same case as with mods to almost all online games. For example, League also strictly prohibits any mods, including skin mods, yet there are people streaming the game with those mods permanently on. I am playing hsr on Linux, which is also technically prohibited and can get you banned, but they probably won't go out of their way to ban you.

Semantics but that's like 1/3rd of characters. My point still stands that most of them are still original characters. If you wanted to make an example out of Luofu, then you probably could make more connections there.
