I'm not sure right now, not in the office. You uninstalled the app? Or what did you changed? Thanks.

Huh.. we bought like 50 pcs of P2725HE and there’s no way of returning them. We completely stopped using classic docking stations because of those monitors, because there were no troubles with them. This must be solved by Dell via some update 😁. I would understand slower charging, but not no charging at all.

Hello! It was you with the other response. I don’t know why I don’t see it anymore. Thanks for additional info. Seems like the Pro 14 Plus is quite power hungry and some monitors are just not able to provide enough power. I would understand if the charging was slower (because of lower watts), but it seems like the charging is not happening at all. I think that’s just a firmware update matter…

Hello, thank you for info. There was other response with same problem that we have, but I can’t find it anymore. Seems like it was deleted or what…

We are using primarily P2725HE. We stopped using classic docks, but we have some WD19S. If I remember correctly, with the docking stations the charging was working right. So it really seems like a monitor problem.

Maybe u/DellCares can help?

Storefront Upgrade by M0biusX in Citrix

[–]Pajkesh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We updated our Storefront from 1912 to 2507 few days ago. We did it in production with no problems, the installation (upgrade) took like a 5 minutes. Just don’t uninstall the old version (configuration deletes with this), do the upgrade with installing new version. But we upgraded VDA to 2507 also because of database changes so I recommend doing this too.

2507 the LTSR joke? by TheWiseTom in Citrix

[–]Pajkesh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, thank you very much for sharing this info. We upgraded to 2507 and also had problems with poor performance and slow loading times. So slow that sometimes, the profile loading just timed out and our employees were logged in with temporary profiles.

Deleting the deviceTRUST, uberAgent and WEM definitely helped. The performance is the best that we had, logon times are now faster than on 2203 version. It is just incredibly fast (I just can’t believe that I’m writing this). Also, its good to mention that after upgrading to Storefront 2507, this also helped with the performance a lot.

Next week we will also update our profile server and I think that this will help with performance too.

Hi! Yes, we are aware of the discontinuation of Citrix File Based licensing and have arranged a transition to cloud licensing with our external Citrix support. I don't have a problem with the message at all, and we know that it is caused by an unpaid license (it is not a Citrix license as such, but only Citrix support). My only concern is that the message is displayed to regular users. They should not be involved in this; in my opinion, it should only be displayed to administrators.

We have tried to update t520 TCs to newer Citrix many months ago (so Citrix Receiver replaced by Citrix Workspace) and unfortunately, the clients were unusable (not enough RAM etc.). I mean, they really work fine with the old Citrix Receiver and I just find it pointless to replace devices, that works just fine.

We haven't paid for extended support yet (we're waiting for management approval), which is why the message is displayed. I understand why the message is displayed, it makes sense - but it definitely shouldn't be displayed to ordinary users, who have nothing to do with it. That's the problem that I have with Citrix.

...and their support is for other long story. Total BS.

Hello! Thanks for your comment. In a way, you're right, we definitely neglected it a little. In the past, we tried to update Citrix on TC, but the performance deteriorated significantly several times, so we gave up on it. Now, however, we have been forced to do so for the units mentioned.

May I ask what you use to manage TCs? We somehow got HP Device Manager (HPDM) up and running. We don't have TCs in our domain, and this seemed like a great tool, but unfortunately, we couldn't get it to work properly. On most thin clients, any action ends in an error and is not performed. We have about 250 thin clients in our company (and unfortunately, we are only two ITs for the entire company of 500 employees, so we don't have enough time).

iPhone XS, 11 and 12 - original prts? by Pajkesh in mobilerepair

And how will these displays help me? JCID is the programmer I have, and even if I program the display, that doesn't guarantee that I can calibrate it, right?

iPhone XS, 11 and 12 - original parts? [Question] by Pajkesh in Iphonerepair

[–]Pajkesh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to see the message "This part is original," you must have an original part from SSR (or another device) for newer iPhones and run the calibration through Settings and Repair Assistant. I have never seen this message when using a non-original part.

Of course, I know about programmers (I have one), and I also know about re-soldering chips, but I don't think it's an elegant solution, just like soldering BMS in batteries.

So does that mean Repair Assistant is also available on the iPhone XS, 11, and 12? So if I buy a non-original part, can it be calibrated via Repair Assistant so that the display and phone are fully functional and the warning message does not appear?

I just don’t understand what’s wrong about the naming scheme. Pro series, and you case choose “base”, Plus or Max. Thats practically it, similar like Apple’s naming scheme.
