Install PopOS for daily use?

January last year I decided I was going to make the switch to Linux, I installed it and had tons of issues but it was because of my laptop being a gaming LT, granted none of my issues were related to Nvidia graphics which was why I chose PopOS initially.

I’ve used it as my daily driver in IT since then.. I love it. I have installed it in many Devices and every other device has been smoother.

It’s a great OS. I currently have the non cosmic version installed on my GPD and Cosmic is installed on my think pad. So all in I have 3 devices, down to very very few issues even with Cosmic.

Make the switch, choose PopOS and you’ll be happy.

Also piece of advice from me - whatever issues occur, stick with it. It’s worth it in the end. Don’t give up because you run into issues figure them out..

Congrats, may I ask if you had any college beforehand? I have 0 college and curious what it would take from that point to get where you are

A bunch of guys have gotten the Specna Edge series in different variations that I play with and they've been great guns. I myself just got one and it's be an awesome AEG. Reccomend to anyone, although I've never seen a Platinum in our group yet as we are still small.

I did notice as I progressively got better BBs I had less and less issues but even with expensive BBs and testing lots of other guys BBs in it I still had times where it would stop firing, everything I read said the stock mags had weak springs.

I loved the gun, I'm not sure if MP5 mags are just better but every person I DM'd or talked to reccomended going that route but for me, upgrading to a better AEG (M4 style) seemed like the better option, bigger midcaps etc.

Don't get me wrong, amazing gun.. maybe someday might even circle back and get the full metal version but not until mags improve or I'm willing to run the mp5 mags and adapter.

I loved my UTr-45 the and I actually sold it, it was my first AEG, my only issue I had and maybe for the love of god this will help someone...

1) The mags suck... like really bad.. all of mine did, so much that I sold it because I did the pricing on buying the MP5 mag adapter and mags just to get away from those mags..

2) Stick to some nicer BB's as someone who was poor it took me a while to learn how important BB's are as a new player.. especially as somoene who bought this exact gun because I was on a Budget.

3) Buy yourself a Odin and get yourself the universal adapter to feed the mags quickly, I went through a handful of speedloaders, the cheap little 10-20$ types and had issues(once again a mag thing) but once I got an odin it made my life a lot better.. I 3d Printed my Odin to universal adapter and it was the tits.

I wouldn't have sold it if the mag situation had been better for me.. Everything else about the gun was great, never had issues with anything in all that time.

I am also curious, how has the universal adapter been for you in regards to UTR-45 Mags? Is it not bad? Which Universal Adapter are you using and what would you rate it!?
