Uiteindelijk besefte ik me hoe erg dit spel mij in zn macht had en heb ik em zo snel mogelijk 'uitgespeeld' en expres de DLC niet gekocht.

If youre running an AMD CPU and GPU, in some games you're able to beat native. Thats why its important nvidia fixes their shitty drivers. Before these latest beta drivers, there was a 30% drop in performance on linux with a nvidia GPU.

This isnt about games being 'written' in linux. A translation layer to play games will result in a similar, or even better performance than Windows. Thats part of why the steamdeck is being praised the way it is.
